I was wondering whether people knew whether you can come in and out of the park during the day? I was wondering whether we could go in to the park in the morning (using the sky tickets) and then go back out somewhere away from the park for a while and then go back into the park late afternoon and stay for the evening parade using the same ticket? Has anyone done this?
Also we are staying at a hotel that is two stops away from DLP by train. Does anyone have a rough idea what the price of a return train fare would be for adults and children? Just trying to work out whether it is cheaper to get the train or drive and park (at the Disney Village - thanks to Ballet Shoes' expert advice!)
Also, probably a stupid question but what time do the parks open and shut?
Thanks in advance.0 -

yes this is fine - your sky voucher gets exchanged for a one-day hopper ticket, which means you can go in and out of the 2 parks as many times as you like that day.

from bussy st george (2 stops from DLP) I think we were just over 2 euros for an adult one-way fare, kids age 4-11 are half price, kids under 4 are free on the local trains.
Also, probably a stupid question but what time do the parks open and shut?
when are you going?
Thanks in advance.
the park hours etc (the ones which are published so far) are on both the official DLP website (under "planning your trip") and the DLRPMagic site (calendar). you can also download and print off a park programme if your trip is soon, which gives you all the timings of the various shows and parades in both parks.0 -

I'm going with a group of friends next week and will be getting to the parks mid afternoon on Tuesday, 4th September. My question is: I know the afternoons are the busiest time of the day so would it be best to go to the Studios or will it be ok to go to the main park or will the rides be ridiculously busy? I'd wondered about the studios until they shut at 6 and then to the main park until 9?
Thanks - really looking forward to it!0 -
afternoons are busy in both parks - how many days are you there for?0

We'll get there Tuesday and fly home Saturday morning and are planning to go to Paris on Thursday so we'll have all day Weds and Fri in the parks but just want to make sure we have the best start!! I'm sure we'll fit everything in but don't want to start the holiday with loads of queues so am trying to think what the best thing to start with is?0

best start no doubt about it is in the main park - on Tuesday you should be able to get fastpass tickets still for rides like Big Thunder Mountain and Buzz Lightyear lazer blast, Space Mountain 2 etc when you arrive. Phantom Manor, Pirates of the Caribbean, and Its a Small World are fast-loading so you shouldn't have much of a queue for them. Do the paddlesteamer trip around the lake in Frontierland, visit inside, upstairs and downstairs (and the dungeon) in the Castle. The Tarzan show will be finished by 4th, but you still have the daily Magic On Parade and Dreams to see too.
If you're intending staying in the main park until it closes, generally after the Magic On Parade has past the park and the rides get a little quieter.0
