Thanks both - that's pretty muich confirmed what I was thinking. I reckon I can get changing stuff, a few drinks, purse, camera & snacks for DD easily into one of our medium rucksacks. That'll do. It's not as if any of use are going on any of the big rides, so most of the rides/bag situations should be fine.

I'm hoping it won't be TOO busy when we go - 10th & 11th September!

Thanks for everyone's help on here.

    Clare x

We put the passports, money, camera, into a bumbag, everything else is safe outside.

I have no idea if this is feasible for you, so bear with me. Could you fly the evening before, and the morning after, your trip to DLP, first from Belfast/Dublin to Luton? Stay overnight in a travelodge both ways at Luton (theres a sale starting tomorrow for them, and the Luton one is absolutely fine one night :)) and then take the Easyjet flights from Luton to CDG and back (great choice of flight times every day).

Thanks - I guess its not going to be cheap just - I really want to take the Eurostar which is only £213 return for 4 - but the prob is the flight time back to Belfast - DH has to be in work the Wed b4 and the Tues after so getting from Eurostar to the airport on time is tough! The Airport to Luton then on plus tranfers just works out similar to flying direct ! Ah well - thanks for your help though you are all :A

Hi, I'm new to this site/ forums etc.

We go in two days to dlp ( yipee!!) I'm not sure how nice Eurostar is...is it spacious etc can you walk with bored toddlers etc?

Any advice about what shows are good?

We have bought meal hb and they can be used anywhere ( except mcd and rainforest etc) any places nicer than others....my daughter won't eat junk food...( not for want of trying!!)

Staying in Disneyland hotel anyone asked for upgrade on arrival?? Did anyone get one if yes what was it costing??

Probably should ask other questions.....but it's late

Its just like a train anywhere really.

with a toddler - all the shows in both parks are worth seeing.

buffets are probably your best bet with your daughter, because a lot of the hb restaurants kids meal deals do include chips and junk food. The Blue Lagoon and Walts would be worth it though, better choices (but phone today and book your table, you're going at a busy time to DLP and with young children you're better to book your tablest to avoid disappointment).

it will be rack rate (ie stupidly expensive), they rarely offer any kind of discount on the price at check-in for an upgrade. You're going in peak time too, so they can fill the hotels easily.

Probably should ask other questions.....but it's late

hope this helps, enjoy your trip!

  • Hi everyone :)

So, I'm trying to organise our first holiday to DLP for 8days/7nights in august 2013 for 2 adults/2 kids (11&7 at time of going). I've combed this thread for some really great help. So far I've got:

    Flights from edinburgh - Easyjet
    Hotel - Rive Gauche
Airport transfer - TVG + train from DLP to val d'europe
DLP tickets - Annual passport from CE or promo parcs
    =£1350 (roughly) + food/spending money

Am I missing anything? Anyone know when the hotel dates would be released so I can book asap? Any general advice? We were looking to go into Paris for a day or two sightseeing, so any recommendations for that would be great!

So excited now. Just booked our 2nd DLP trip in March for 3 nights. Montana room in Sequoia lodge with half board. Our family of 4 plus 2 really great friends who we have been with before. Travelodge booked close to St Pancras, just waiting for Eurostar dates to be releasded. I think I am more excited than the kids!!

are you waiting for the indirect Eurostar for March? As the direct fares have already been released, both online and by phone :).

I need to buy tickets for our son - we are using the sky free tickets for two of us, but need an extra child ticket. Does anybody know the cheapest place to buy tickets for children please?
