It's a very easy drive.
I would keep it simple, use the tunnel, then there may be one or two roundabouts, then it's all double lane, quiet motorway, (toll, but not dear), and a few hours later you're there). I've done it a lot of times.
If you drive, do it yourself, and put him to shame.
Thanks all for your help. I couldn't give up, although I know its going to be freezing, I have decided to take advantage of the 3d + 2n get 2d & 2n free in combination with kids under 12 free.
I am now going in feb half term for 5 days, 4 nights for the 4 of us for 482.50 after quidco. Have got flights for £300 as didnt fancy attempting to drive at that time of year so £800 all in for 5 days - well happy. :T0 -
well done - thats when we're going next too (2 nights free is a great deal)

Agreed - just need more to spend when we're there now as its for longer!!
Was thinking we could get away with making lunch at breakfast to take with us and take a few snack for daytime so would only need an evening meal each day. Would you advise the meal plans or not?0 -

definitely no meal plans, they don't save you any money and they are restrictive (ie where you can eat with them, what you can eat with them). If you want to budget for your evening meals, have a look at DLRPMagic menus, then if you'd be tempted to dip into your savings for it before you go, put the money on a pre-pay travelcard and use that to pay for your meals at DLP.0 -

Sounds a good deal.

From CDG you've got a few options. You won't be any more than 140 euros return for the transfer (this would be with a private shuttle company ie ezyshuttle.com or rstransports) You could also look at the VEA shuttle bus (this is 19 euros each way per adult, 13 euros each way per child) or the TGV train (check raileurope for ideas of fares and times - the station at DLP is called marne la vallee chessy). rstransports may also offer a shared shuttle transfer for 4 of you, which would be the cheapest and most convenient option.
All of these companies have their own websites to look at prices, times etc etc0 -

Wow, thanks for that. Just checked it out and its 95.40eur for a shared shuttle return with rts (2 adults + 2 kids) as opposed to 128 for the bus. Think thats me sorted.
Only one more thing I need - it to be February now - I'm way more excited than the kids!!0 -
Anyone know of any other alternatives to flying from Belfast- we are going in March again( 14 - 18 ) and flights are always so expensive that we end up flying out early with Ryanair( dublin ) - now I book these months in advance and still ryanair & tranport ends up costing us around £650 for 2adults 2kids - I really don't want to go this route again but Easyjet are scarily high - any ideas would be much appreciated ! Thanks0

Just been on Skyscanner and struggling to find any decent prices from Ireland (either North or Republic) for those dates I'm afraid. Is a ferry an option? (I would've thought probably not but trying to make suggestions!)0
