ap156,
We looked at that site. Sent them an email to ask for availability for August.
The car we have is pretty small, so a big factor in this. Dont thin kwe can take a hire car overseas.0 -
Out of the two sites, where to stay is a no brainer imo. I'd stay at Caravaning des 4 Vents every time, far larger pitches and quieter. Jablines is very commercial and compact. Your choice though!0

If you can fly, and its not as expensive as the Eurostar, do it. I fly all the time, its not a difficult transfer either. With 4 of you you'd be cheapest and most convenient getting a shared or private shuttle to take you from CDG to your hotel and back. It costs around 140 euros return for a private shuttle (but have a look on rstransports etc to get a proper costing, including the shared shuttle price). Theres the VEA coach at 19 euros each way per adult, 13 euros each way per child. Or the TGV train (check Rail Europe or sncf.fr for price and times).
Or - with 4 of you, you could drive (you could stay overnight at Ashford and take the Eurotunnel early next morning). If you have Tesco clubcard vouchers, you can use those for the Eurotunnel crossing.
Is it an option to either use Tesco vouchers for Avios points (which can be used for Eurostar) or sign up for a BMI credit card which gives free BMI diamond club points which can be exchanged for Avios? Or do the more expensive Eurostar dates require too many Avios points?
I'm looking to book next May (out of term time) and I notice that Eurostar are now doing online bookings that far ahead. Our dates are very reasonable at the moment so think I might book asap. 2% Quidco too :-)0 -
Hi
I was just wondering when it would be best to book for May 2013, probably going to go for 3 nights and stay in the Cheyenne vie Eurostar. Im wondering if anyone knows when the offers tend to change?
Thank you0 -

the current offers will change after the 20th august. within a couple of weeks there will be another offer (might not be for your dates yet though).
For Eurostar - always book that separately yourself, Disney is very expensive. Book now for the Eurostar though, the cheapest price you will get is now, it will only get more expensive.0 -

you don't leave the station at Lille, you just change platforms.0 -
I have spent ages geeting the best deal for my other half and I to go to DLP. We are using Avios to cover eurostar holiday insurance and most of the hotel including breakfast staying off site with a shuttle and have bought passes via CE-multiadvantages that only took 4 days to arrive from France. However I had applied for sky tickets for two of the days I am there which we will now not need (Son unable to come due to work now) If I collect them(with normal ID) can I give them away to someone in the queue or will they need ID to go with the tickets I suspect not once I have collected them.0

If they are day tickets or multi day tickets then there is no id on the tickets so no problem!
