Any idea if there is free wifi in the Cheyenne?

Nope. No wifi, free or paid for! DLP seems very behind the times when it comes to wifi. We found free wifi in the Village at both McDonalds and Earl of Sandwich...
  • Hello , We are off to Eurodisney next week with our two kids (6 & 11).... for the first time so we are a bit lost. Can anyone help on the following -
We would like to do Mickeys cafe with characters , when would be the best time of day to do this? We are not sure if lunch time or evening meal time ? Which is the least busy also we still would like to see parade but not sure when they start and for how long they last?

Also which are the best things to do and see for a six year old boy?

    Thanks for your help.

you can get a park programme download on the official DLP site which will give you the times of the parades, shows etc in both parks. This weeks one will be very similar to next week. The main parade in the park is at 5pm each day, and last for around 30 minutes, from start of parade route to its finish.

Cafe Mickey is quietest at lunchtime, the characters are there between 12noon and just before 3pm each day.

Toy Story Playland in the Studios would be a big hit for your son I'd think, plus all the rides etc in both parks. The shows in the Studios are all perfect for him too (Moteurs stunt show, Cinemagique, Animagique, and Stitch Live).

im home - :D me, dh and dd (aged 4)
had a lovely but exhausting break. Here is my trip report for anyone thats interested, and writing this i can satisfy myself that we got our moneys worth.

wednesday- 11am eurostar from ashford, arrived dlp 14.00 . Shuttle bus to hotel and checked in and dropped luggage, arrived park at 14.30. (dont think its worth paying for disney express, easy enough to drop bags yourself)

    Main park -
its a small world x2, snow white, boat fairy tale ride, pinochio, buzz, parade, mcdonalds, and bed.

thursday- up at 7am for breakfast to make the most of extra magic. main park at 8am - main street carsx3, buzz x3, peter panx2, dumbo, tea cups.
then to studios at 9.30 - straight to be at front of queue for green men parachute, then managed to get on cars quattro rally before queues got to long. dh did rock and roller coaster and armeggedon. then we watched lilo and stitch and playhouse disney.
hotel room for a snooze and packed lunch.
back to main park- casey jr, its a small world x2, autopia, buzzx2, snow white ( a little rest in videopolis, which dd loved to sit in and just have a bit of peace)
cafe mickey and bed. (make sure you book)

    friday 7am start (again)
main park for 8am - main street cars, buzz x3, peter pan x2, carousel, teacups, mumy and daddy went on space mountain, and mummy went on thunder mountain, while dd played in the park in frontier land, then we went in phantom manor, watched captain EA, 3d film
    mc donalds for lunch
then to studio park , tram tour, animagique, slinky dog.
back to main park - autopia, and a bit of videoopolis
    Cafe Mickey and bed

Saturday up at 7am for breakfast again.

    Park at 8am
main street cars, buzz x3, peter pan, tea cups, autopia, its a small world. saw dragon in dungeon under the castle, climb about in the front of frontier land.

Then mcdonalds again !!!!!! (i don not usually eat so much mcdonalds, but i am a touch addicted to facebook and had to make use of the wifi!!!!)

Walked back to hotel, bought a few souveniers, caught the TGV to lille at 14.30 , had 2 hours in Lille. Where we walked to shopping centre and got a sandwich. Eurostar back to ashfield.

the main things i would say are, make the most of the extra hours if you are staying in the hotel, dd loved the buzz ride and it meant we were able to go on more than 10 times during our stay !! with no queueing. Make sure you book the restraunts before you go.

Hope your not all bored to tears :rotfl:

Its a pizza/pasta buffet, all pretty bland from what everyone says. You do get unlimited soft drinks too included in the buffet price. Its also not open every day/all day either.

there are no characters at DLP of Phineas or Ferb, there might be some merchandise (I haven't looked recently to be honest).

We really want to take our daughters aged 6 and 2 to DLP, but I like to get a good deal wherever I go! Ideally we would like to around the 22nd June, my eldest's birthday, but unsure how many nights/days we can get away with. Also is it worth paying more to stay in the better hotels, providing we have a free shuttle to the park I'm happy.
