I really want to do inventions too but like you, not sure I can afford it with all the other meals, snacks and gifts I'll most likely be buying. Plus ds eats as much as a sparrow and I can't justify spending that amount when he barely eats.

I think my meal plans are going to be like this:-

    Day One
    Breakfast - Hotel
Lunch - Sandwiches/pastries from breakfast. Coffee and cake.
    Dinner - Cafe Mickey 6-11pm

    Day Two
    Breakfast - Hotel
    Lunch - Agrahbar Cafe
    Dinner - Sandwiches/pastries from breakfast.

    Day Three
    Breakfast - Hotel
Lunch - Cowboy Cookout BBQ Character
Dinner - McDonalds - Leaving at 8pm so need something quick really.

Not sure whether to do 2 character meals or go for somewhere like rainforest cafe for one. Also unsure if the sandwiches I get from breakfast will be enough to keep us going at certain times. Should be ok though but realise I might need to get something to add to it.

I'm taking about £300 cash for the two of us.

you could always just go buy one kids meal from the various counter service restaurants all over the parks, and share it, to go along with your pastries etc. it costs around 6 euros, and you get your main (burger, chicken, fish etc) fries or veggies, a drink and a dessert (ice cream, yoghurt, fruit salad etc).

If you're going to take a couple of pastries etc for later, its a good idea to take a tupperware container to put them in when you leave the breakfast restaurant, as well as sandwich bags. They won't last well all day in just the sandwich bags, they'll get squished ;).

if it helps, I work on about 65 euros per day for 2 of us (one adult, one child) for DLP. This is for all our meals except breakfast, snacks, and includes a bit for souvenirs too.

I don't take anything away at breakfast time for later, because it just gets squished and I like travelling light.

Yeah I was thinking the stuff from breakfast might be a bit rank by later on, or that we'd be peckish earlier from all the walking and eat it well before hand lol. I'll have the pram so it shouldn't get too squashed, but like you said, I can see myself resorting to something a bit fresher. Will pop a container into my suitcase as I'm sure it'll come in handy.

Sounds like I should have enough cash then. Would like to bring my two nieces and a friend's little girl something small back, as well as getting ds things to remember the trip, and photos, 5 photo credits for 35 euros is it?

Sounds quite similar to my plans.

Day one we dont arrive till afterlunch ( will have a packed lunch on eurostar)
    Dinner - cafe mickey

Day two - breakfast at hotel
Lunch - to be decided. Maybe pizza planet
    Dinner - wild west show

Day three - breakfast at hotel
    Lunch - to be decided.
    Dinner - princess restuarant

Day four - breakfast ayt hotel
    Lunch - cowboy cookout
Dinner - mcds ( also a quickie becuase we leave at 6pm).

Im bringing 500 pounds for me and my 2 children (7 and 4) - im sure your budget will be fine. Ohhhhh, im so excited now!!oh,

Could have sworn I'd read somewhere that Pizza Planet was closed when I'm there... don't take my word for it though I'm probably wrong!

This time next week I'll be on the coach... not looking forward to the trip there in the slightest. We set off at 8am and arrive there 9:30 at night! The trip home won't be so bad as we're travelling over night.

I'm very excited being a first timer, mam and dad were always saying 'one day we'll go to disney' (in America) and never did. Ds is getting more and more excited now, at first he had no idea what disney was, but now I've shown him vids and been talking about what we'll be doing there, he's definitely gearing up for it.

    hi

Just check that princess resterauant is open in the evening when you go when we went in feb it was lunch only, other warning is it takes about 2 hrs, fab but lenghty but best place to see princesses the princess tent always had a queue of at least 60 mins and they wont tell you which princess is in there. also the cindrella resturaunt is closed till 6th april, and dont know if they are moving the princess ,meal or not, hope they do as fab, and having it next time we go, but I will ask for kids starter as not a big fish fan, starter for kids was salmon mouse, melon smoothie and melon and feta cheese salad, she had the pasta (which was horrid so dont have that pumpkin and riccotta) for pudding she had a cinderella slipper (choc slipper) a white choc lolly with cinderella on, choc cake, ice cream and a mousse. For adults starter is smoked salmon and cavier, duck and and a fishy soup thing lol, main is a choice I had veal and yummy, pudding is creme bruille and blackforest in a choc shell and a pistachio flavered thing, very nice. We saw belle, cinderella, prince charming, tiana and perla and suzie, My daughter loved it, great experience.
Cowboy cookout was out fav for lunch, we where there 6 days and eat there 3 days, but middle child, is a big toy story fan and was in awe of woody, the charectures are great in there, they dance with the kids, they had the kids doing the conga round the room, they played with them, my eldest had shoot outs with woody, was a brilliant experience. And if your birthday Micky brings out your cake, was my birthday when there

I'm going with Siesta by coach, going Thursday morning, but it gets back Monday dinner (depending on where you live I guess), for £425 for myself and ds. 3 full days at the park.

yeah but I work full time so only have next week off as holiday so couldn't do that trip. I went on something similar with goldcrest before and would only do a coach trip again if some of the travelling was overnight - 14 hour day on a coach full of screaming kids is not an experience I'd like to repeat!
