yeah but I work full time so only have next week off as holiday so couldn't do that trip. I went on something similar with goldcrest before and would only do a coach trip again if some of the travelling was overnight - 14 hour day on a coach full of screaming kids is not an experience I'd like to repeat!

The journey back is overnight... thank God. I'm really not looking forward to the journey going, even less so now after reading your post, so thanks for that. :p;)
There's a storm coming, Mr Johnson. You and your friends better batten down the hatches, because when it hits, you're all gonna wonder how you ever thought you could live so large and leave so little for the rest of us.

I had a quick look at the times etc for Siesta coaches to DLP - you can leave from various services on the M1 around Nottingham on Saturday mornings, coming back on either Tuesday or Wednesday (Wednesday gives you the overnight trip home).

Hi, Just looking at booking a holiday to Disneyland Paris but it's pickling my head a bit. Is there one website where you can book it all together? I was trying to get a quote for the eurostar on the Disney website but it was saying it couldn't do it - I tried diff dates and stuff but it would only quote me for flights which made it ridiculously expensive.

We are looking to go around the 11th June for 2 or 3 nights - On the Disney site I got quoted £483 for 3 nights at the santa fe (2 adults & 4yr old) This price seemed ok - what does everyone else think? Should I wait a bit longer to see if any better deals come out?

I went onto the Euro Start website to get a quote for travel and it quoted me just under £600!!! Is this normal? It seems excessive. I am unsure the best way to travel there now does anyone have any advice.

Someone mentioned on netmums they got 3 nights in santa fe for a family of 4 including park tickets and eurostar for just under £700 in June through Thomas Cook. I have tried their website but it only quotes for flying not travelling by eurostar.

Sorry for the ramble I am just very confused - I really want to go but booking it it stressing me out x

I've only got next week, have entitlement to other holidays but I don't really have time to take it due to being so busy at work, actually seriously considering cancelling my leave next week as I've got a massive wad of stuff to get through on my desk and after I've seen my clients today will probably get through 1/5 of it then in september I go back to uni full time so can't go after that either!

usually its cheaper to book your Disney hotel/park tickets separately from your travel. But yes, if you go visit a travel agent like First Choice or Thomas Cook, or Co-op travel, they could put a package together for you.

I often find the Eurostar website a bit confusing/doesn't give you all the options. Give them a call and ask them about the prices - be aware though, that the week before (w/c 4th June) has been sold out for the direct Eurostar for months, so that may be why your dates are showing so expensive.

Generally speaking, when looking at a trip to DLP, the earlier you start planning, the better (ie months in advance). for example, by phone the Eurostar is available to book about 10 months in advance of travel.

do you have a local airport with budget flights to Paris CDG? would you consider driving and using the Eurotunnel/ferry?

if your Disney onsite hotel quote has a 40% discount on it, then its probably not going to get any cheaper than that for June (we usually stay offsite in June because onsite is out of our budget).

Thanks for your reply - I tried a few diff dates in the eurostar site and they vary incredibly - cheapest I found was for a May date which was just under £300. I will have to look into flights as after driving to the eurostar it may prove a similar price of not cheaper. If I do fly do people recommend booking a transfer in advance or can you just hop in a taxi/coach etc... at the airport to disney? I might a couple of estate agents also see what they come up with.

you will be much cheaper if you organise a shuttle transfer in advance rather than jumping in a taxi at CDG - there are lots of shuttle transfer companies and you can book a couple of days in advance if you like.

Thanks so much advice on here has been fab - I have got some quotes for flying as as I live in the midlands I think we will be much better off flying so I reckon were going to book for the week after half term in June and fly. I don't know whether to do 2 nights or 3 nights? what do people recommend?

What extras do people think are must do's? And what restaurants are the nicest to eat in - I quite fancy the rainforest cafe. Is it recommended to book any restaurants in advance of going?

Oh yeah and do you think £500 spending money for 3 nights will be enough (2 adults and a 4 year old) ?
