another question, food, where is best place to eat, and not too expensive, been told there are mcdonalds nearby are they normalish prices.

Our plan is brekkie at hotel, with a bag, make up something for lunch from hotel brekkie, then just get tea out, good plan or not, we are staying at thomas cook explorer hotel

there is a large McDonalds in the Village, right next to the Disney parks (ie less than 5 minutes walk from the gates). theres also an Earl of Sandwich, and a New York deli sandwich place too, all in the Village.

The Explorers has a decent pizza bar inside its main area, near the hotel restaurants. A medium pizza there starts from around 10 euros, and it fed me and my daughter when she was 7 or 8. Try to sort out your own soft drinks, don't buy them at the hotel, as they are around 3 euros either at the bar or in the vending machines. The Relay shop inside the train station is a good place to get drinks at reasonable prices.
  • Thankyou will try the pizza bar

do all 5 of you live at the same address? just thinking - you could become a shareholder with as little as 5 shares in Eurodisney SCA (or buy 20 shares and pay no admin fee to join the shareholders club). with your shareholders club you get 15% discount on every annual pass that you buy, so that would be 30 euros discount on each dream annual pass. Plus, if you are buying 5 annual passes of the same type at the same time, and you are all resident at the same address, you get another 20% discount on top of this (its called the family discount), so that would be 35% discount on each annual pass.

Thanks Balletshoes. No, unfortunately my mum has a different surname and lives at a different address. Otherwise that would have been a brilliant saving! Will look at the shareholders club.

This is all so complicated. I'm sure without this board I'd be wasting a huge amount of money.

I am about to book Disneyland Paris for a few days in May (myself and 2 children aged 4 and 6), we have been before so just need hotel advice- last time we stayed at the Disneyland Hotel but I really can't afford it this time! Which would people recommend is better to stay at- Newport Bay or Hotel New York?

    Thanks!

Just looking in to say Bon Voyage, we're off today to DLP (well, flying 6am tomorrow) - will check back in on the weekend to give you all the full SP.

    Jx
And it looks like we made it once again
Yes it looks like we made it to the end

Hi im currently trying to find a good package for march this year. It seems to be cheaper to book the package via the disney website and flights separately into CDG Paris. Has anyone else book package and separate flights? If not who do you generally book through? Also wondering what the difference between the sante fe and the cheyenne hotel is?
    Thanks in advance.

hotel new york without a doubt - its smaller, its closer to the parks, and you have hot options included in breakfast at no extra charge :)

What hotels have we all stayed in and what are your good and bad points? Thinking of booking the sequoia lodge for the pool. What extra benifits does this have over the sante fe and cheyenne apart from the pool. We are there for 4 nights 5 days but only gonna have 3 full days and 2 3rds of the last day will miss the first day completely due to flight times. Do you think i will have time to use the pool? Or is this just a silly idea. Going march 26th .
    thanks in advance
    :)
