What's it like there in feb? Does it shut down for winter?

It doesn't shut down ever. It'll just be chilly, so wrap up well! (And your daughter shares her birthday with a fabulous person - ME! I'll be 8 years old next year ;) )

We're going for 2 nights in January (I think) and we're only going to be taking £300. You'll probably come home with money.

Have you book and paid for buffolo bill show? The reason is cause there is an offer at the moment which does at the moment expire on 1st November but it been so successful they think of extending it. The offer is the birthday person go on his/her birthday month. As long as they are annual passholder they can go free on any class. Whilst extra guests pay €39 on class 2 and think it was €49 for class 1. We just came back from dlpr where it was my mother in-law and brother in-law birthday month. (wife birthday fell 12 days too early to be included). So ended paying just under $80 for 4 people :D.

One tip if you want a photo of mikey in the waiting area of the show get there early cause does goes in very quickly :C
  • I've just booked some airmiles flights to Paris next June (week after the half term). Does anyone have any predictions if/when there'll be any offers for the onsite hotels. When should I book by (given that my dates are now fixed!!!). I'm thinking Sequoia or New York (2 adults, a 4 year old and a 6 mth old baby). What would be a reasonable price for these hotels do you think, considering it's supposed to be a quiet time? I'm also considering the halfboard option.

it will be nice and quiet, but that doesn't always mean you get decent prices for onsite hotels unfortunately. In May and June I've always ended up staying offsite because onsite was outside our budget.
I guess a 30%, possibly a 40% discount would be about the best you're likely to get for that time of year, you can work out from the price thats available for June 2012 now what thats likely to be, and if you think its a good price for your chosen hotel.
  • iv already booked buffalo bill got 20% off for booking early x
