Thats a good way of looking at it. But I think I want to see how it goes this time before committing more money to it, I think I'd worry if I spent the £85 and then decided I didn't want to go again. I suppose there's always an option to buy another 15 shares in two years if I wanted it to be longer term.

And it looks like we made it once again
Yes it looks like we made it to the end
  • Hello, yes its the cheyanne, the sante fe was a little cheaper - £298 I think x

I'm not getting anything close to that and there's only the 3 of us :( Getting £398 for 2 or 3 nights. Back to the drawing board for me then.

theres still plenty of time for January-March 2012 to get more discounted offers on them with Disney for onsite hotels, keep checking (there will be another offer out shortly, as the current one ended on 30th September).

    Dear All,

we are trying to get away to Disney Paris but desperately need help. We are two adults; a teenager and a 12 year old. Want to leave mid October 2011 and do 4 or 5 day trip to Disney and surrounds.

can't seem to grasp all the prices and options so will appreciate help with the following:

1- Is it possible to get decent prices for travel and hotel so late?
2- best way to travel from Scotland to Disney? Train or fly? Drive?
3- stay at park or outside?

if there are any agents that cancels with quotes that would be appreciated. The prices we seem to be getting are fly assurance about £75 each return and about £100 per night for accommodation.

    thanks in anticipation.

You can call & book now to give you piece of mind you've got it. It's only a 2 minute phone call. I can't help with regards to the birthday cake, but i'm hoping someone can, as one of our trip options is my sons birthday in January & i'd love to get him a cake.

if you want a specific date and time for your dinner at Cafe Mickey, you should book in advance - the number is 0033 160 304050. You can't take your own cake into the restaurant with you, but you can order one which the characters will bring to your table with your waiter, all lit up with candles etc :D. Its a brilliant Cafe Mickey moment, I try to think up any old excuse to order a birthday cake at Cafe Mickey lol.
You need to order the cake at least 24 hours in advance, you can either add it to your Disney package and pay for it before you arrive, or you can order it at City Hall in the main park, and pay for it with your bill at Cafe Mickey. It costs 25 euros (expensive, but honestly worth it for the experience, and you can take the cake away with you to have for supper over the next couple of days :).) Its a big cake, easily serves 8-10.

Have been weighing up best options for us to take our 2 year old to Disney this December and think i have settled on a "best deal" :D

    3 nights B&B at Kyriad - £128.17
Eurostar from Ebbsfleet to Disney - £158
    2 x annual passes - about £240

A touch over £500 with the next years trips working out much cheaper!! That sound like a good deal? :j
  • We looked at the Kyriad. It did seem really cheap over Christmas. Is it a nice hotel though? What dates is that for?

I've never stayed - have stayed at all the parks onsite (except castle!!) and also radisson and explorers off site. We spend so little time in the hotel that I thought i'd give the cheapest optino a go!

Thats travelling on 5th Dec and returning on 8th Dec x
