Disneyland Paris/EuroDisney - Questions & Answers

We are off to Disneyland Paris on the 21st Oct for 3 nights/4 days at the Sequoia Lodge.
Have never been before and we are a family with a 9 year old, a 7 year old and a 13 week old
I have a few questions which I was hoping somebody more knowledgeable could answer
My baby isn't sleeping through the night yet and we are formula feeding.
Will there be a kettle to heat her bottles provided in the hotel room at Sequoia or should I bring a travel bottle warmer?
Also we are taking the Eurostar train so can we take cartons of her milk with us?
We have requested a cot in the hotel room but not sure whether to take a cot with us just incase?
Is there any microwaves provided throughout the parks for heating of baby food/milk?
Also wondering about sterilisation of bottles, we usually use a microwave steriliser.
Any advice/hints/tips are most welcome!
Thanks in advance x
Lucky you!! We stayed at SL in June and it's great. Cot will be fine...a large travel cot. It also leaves ample space in the room (we used it to put all the girls stuff as we took two gi-normous almost three yr olds)
Kettles for rent at all Disney hotel reception desks. Actually only needs a deposit - no rental fee charged. (TIP take tea bags or coffee and some plastic mugs and you can have a brew as well. Milk at hotel shop or cheaper from the shop by the station)
Advantage with Eurostar is you have all your luggage with you and no worries about taking food, drinks, baby milk etc.
For heating baby bottles, changing and general time out with LO use the baby room at Disneyland park. Near the entrance, quiet, roomy but sometimes busy in changing area. We also used the medical room next door when one twin had a temp. Fantastic treatment, very well examined, weighed for dosage because she is so tall for age, and given medication and told to return if needed for further doses. Even examined other twin, just to check.
Can't answer sterilizer query, sorry. Ours were old enough to have bottles just washed.
We are booked to return in Dec (Santa Fe this time) and i am also taking older boys in Feb to Cheyenne. Did I mention I'm a Disney Nut?
Hope all that helps. Let me know if I can answer any more worries.Dor0 -
Hi,
A bit of advice please - I've tried looking through this thread but there are so many messages feeling a little swamped...
1. My Daughter will be 3 in Mar-12, we're looking at going June-12 - will there be sufficient things for her to go on or will we face height restrictions on too many things?
2. Stay 1 night (2 days) or 2 nights (3 days)? Cost is of course high, but just wondering if we'll find it all too much of rush just 1 night, thus just book it and be done with it!
3. Looking at staying at Santa Fe hotel - think it's basic but will do, am I right? Theory is we will literally use the hotel just to sleep in as will be in park all day and evening, thus why spend silly money on something not really going to use?
Thanks in advance.0 -

you will have height restrictions, but there is so much more to DLP than the rides anyway - there are shows in both parks, there are daily parades in both parks, character meet n greets, character meals, and you will be able to ride a lot of the rides too (in both parks). Have a google for the height restrictions.

our first couple of trips were 2 nights, 3 days (realistically just over 2 and a half days in the parks). That was enough for us, especially if you're going midweek when there are no school holidays. You should be able to do and see everything you want to in that amount of time.

I love the Santa Fe - its a great base for DLP, and you can walk to the park gates if you don't fancy the shuttle buses.
Thanks in advance.

hello, we are hoping to arrive in disney on March 28th 2012. Family of 4 2 adults, a 6 and a 4 year old.
Weve ahd a quote including flights which comes in at around £1000. If we could do it cheaper can you advise us of a site to check on?
Have been on official disney site and the quote we get seems very low and we cant work out if that is for the 4 of us or price per adult!
any help would be appreicated - thanksMum, wife and dinnerlady!0 -

if you've run through your dates, choice of hotel, and included everyone in your party in your quote, the quote you get on the official Disneyland Paris website (which includes hotel, park tickets and breakfast) is the total you pay. You should then look direct for flights, so check which low-cost airlines fly from a suitable airport for you to Paris Charles de Gaulle airport. Transfers between the airport and your hotel at Disneyland Paris will probably be around 120 euros return.
You usually find, especially in low season (which the end of March is) - that it is cheaper to book your hotel/park tickets through Disney, and then source your own flights/transfers, over going through a travel agent or including your flights etc in your Disney quote.0 -
thankyou balletshoes. £313 seems a bargain for the 4 of us!
Will start looking at flights now, weve never taken the boys abroad and its been a long time since we went and had previosly just booked at a travel agent without shopping around.Mum, wife and dinnerlady!0 -

that price will come down a little (about £15) if you change the room in the booking - as Disney always include the upgraded room in your quote. For the Cheyenne for example, your quote includes a room in a block near reception - but as all the blocks at the Cheyenne are within 3 or 4 minutes walk of reception anyway, you can choose a standard room and save yourself a little more money.

hiya we go on the 26th march next year and the price we paid is alot higher but we have 4 adults and 2 kids(in the disney hotel), do u realise that this time of year kids under 12 stay and play free (hence the cheapness of your quote)
have fun:)0 -
saw that kids stayed free, think we just expected it to be more expensive especially as the flights will cost us more.
Also saw one travel agent advertising 2 adults and 1 child staying march 12th 2012 for £613 each - so I thought maybe the disneyland paris quote we got was per person (so pleased it wasnt!)
Very excited boys and me, think husband is too but he hiding it - tough really as its our belated honeymoon!!!Mum, wife and dinnerlady!0 -

When we travelled with a baby I used sterilisation tablets and a travel steriliser (they can be used in microwaves or filled with cold water and a tablet dropped in) Boots sell both.0
