Balletshoes - Can I just check something with you? I'm looking at DLRPMagic & its quoting an adult & child price for Cafe Mickey for the character meals. Do you HAVE to have the set meals? I thought i'd read about a pizza & a couple of portions of fries being enough? I'm just trying to work my budget out!
yes, you can order pizza etc to share at Cafe Mickey, you definitely don't have to order a set meal each (the kids meal at Cafe Mickey isn't worth the money, in my opinion). We always share a pizza and some garlic bread at Cafe Mickey, they are easily big enough for 2 or 3 people.0 -

- if you go again, you can take your luggage to the luggage locker store inside the train station itself - a large locker (easily fits 2 large suitcases plus bags) is 9.50euros total for the day, and is open from early morning until 10pm each evening.
Is this easy enough to find? We're planning to put our case in there on the Sunday.COMP WINS FOR HUBBY & I SINCE SEPTEMBER:2 £50 DOMINOS VOUCHERS, 13 PAIRS OF FOOTBALL TICKETS, MICROSOFT HOME EDTN, 2 PAIRS OF ALTON TOWERS TICKETS, 1 CASE OF PERCY PIGS, 1 PAIR OF LEATHER LADIES GLOVES, 4 COLLECTION 2000 PRODUCTS, PLAYSTATION 3 WITH FIFA 12, 5* HOTEL STAY IN LONDON, SEASON 6 OF SUPERNATURAL DVD, PERFECT PIZZA VOUCHER0 -

yep, very easy, there are signs when you enter the main bit of the train station. You'll go upstairs and the left luggage locker room is on your left hand side at the top of the staircase.0 -
hi ive been looking at disneyland tickets for 2 adults 1 child for 2 days and 2 parks on the british disneyland site it is cheapest to buy 2 lots of 1 day 2 park tickets for each person which comes to £296.
i then went on the french site as someone else said you can get cheaper tickets and it comes up with some tickets for 40 euros for 1 day 2 parks. so when i put 2 lots each in (one of my dates comes up at 50 euros instead of 40) and comes to 270 euros which when i convert it into sterling comes to £235 which is a lot cheaper im still translating all the details but it says as long as you put the dates on a nd book it 5 days b4 u travel it is cheaper!
My question is is this the best deal going around at the moment? is there any trouble with buying from the french side and sending it to the uk? or can you print them out? anyone else who has done this and can enlighten me please get in touch“You know you're in love when you can't fall asleep because reality is finally better than your dreams.” ― Dr SeussI Married My Prince Charming 01.06.13:kisses2:

Hi All. Just wanted to know if it was worth going down the buying shares in DLP road so save a few £'s on our holiday. I reacon all in all it will cost £100 to join the shareholders club. Are we really going to save more that that with all the discounts the shareholdersr club offers? I know that there was a discussion on the forum previously about the sharholders club, any other thoughts would be welcome!0

Depending on the age of your child and the dates you're wanting to go it could be better getting an annual pass. On www.ce-multiavantages.com they have annual passes ranging from E99-149 and for each adult you get an under 7 free, and you can obviously use if for a year.
There are three different level of pass and two have black out days when you cant use them - dlrp magic has a section on what you get/don't get with each pass.
The only trouble is that the website is in French  but it is very easy to get in translated0 -

I'm a shareholder.
You can always sell them again.
I bought mine a year or two ago, they doubled in price, now they're down again, and it' the right time to buy.
Well worth it for me, with the discount on the annual passes alone.0 -

Working on the standard shareholders discount of 15% on your souvenirs and table/buffet service meals at DLP, you'd need to be spending around £700 on those to break even if you bought 20 shares and spent £100 doing that.
Shares in Eurodisney SCA either need to be looked on as a long-term investment (ie if you take frequent trips to DLP, then over the years your £100 shares investment will pay for itself many times over),
or, if you are buying then selling your shares in short time to get the shareholders discount for 2 years only (the shareholders club requires you to renew your membership every 2 years) then really you are only down about £35 (the buying and selling fees of the shares). So if you do it that way, you'd break even on your £35 outlay if you would expect to spend around £250 on your trip on table/buffet service meals and souvenirs (which is conservative for a family of 4 over 2 or 3 days in the parks - DLP is expensive).
There are lots of ways shareholders discount can add up, not just the DLP 15% on shopping and restaurants. You also get a straight 10% discount on Disney Store merchandise bought in Disney Stores in the UK, plus discounted DLP park tickets and annual passes, and free snacks/beverages at Salon Mickey each morning until noon.
My maths is pretty rubbish, so feel free to check the calculations.

Halifax have a deal on fridays only £5 ( Usually 11.95) to buy international shares until 21st of October.
The shares have also dropped!
I bought 20 ( with a little help from balletshoes) for the shareholder member discounts & as a little investment for my son, and may buy some for my daughter tomorrow! I figure they will get their money back and may even make a slight profit! & have an extra treat or 2 when we are there:j:j:jMoney Spending Expert! :j:j:j0 -
I got 15% off 4 annual passes. That was worth 80 euros or so.
Then between 10% and 15% of most other purchases.
I can always sell the shares, but hopefully they'll go up, and if I go back, I'll still get the discount in the meantime.0
