I'm going to DLP next Thursday and am expecting it to be quietish.
I was just wondering whether you think I'll need to book restaurants in advance?
At the moment the plan I have is:
Thurs: Annettes
Fri: Wild west show
Sat: Inventions
Sun: Lunch at Cafe mickey/auberge/somewhere else (see how much money I have left - Can I book on the day or the day before at either of these?)
I've got my shareholder pass as well which knocks a bit off the meal prices.
I can't wait!!!!
We're having lunch at Cafe Mickey next SundayWe've booked it already though.

Hi
Hope you have a good time!
What are the main things you plan to do? I was going to make some sort of agenda but think it will probably go out th ewindow when we get there.0 -

I think on your trip, you'll have a quiet resort for your whole time there, so you can pretty much do what you like when you like. With a young child, I'd definitely pencil in a trip to the lobby of the Disneyland Hotel at 4pm on either Saturday or Sunday - the characters do a little song and dance routine there on the weekends, followed by lots of time for photos/autographs. Well worth it!

Thanks Balletshoes that sounds brilliant. My daughter is 6 and really can't wait. Feels like I've got so much stuff in my head that I've read of things to do that it's going to explode. Do you get your autograph books from DLP?0

yes they sell them everywhere at DLP, they start at around 5 euros and go up. Take a chunky pen with you, easier for the characters to hold (you can buy them there too if you like).0 -
Brilliant. Just when I thought I had all the advice you had to give you come up with some more. Thankyou.
I'll write a report on here when I get back!!!0 -

I'm wanting to book a 2 night/ 3 day holiday at Disneyland Paris during mid-December, travelling by Eurostar and staying at the Disneyland hotel. For 2 adults and 2 children under 7 the cost appears to be about £1350 via the Disney site and Thomas Cook are quoting me about £1175. Is this is good price, or are there much cheaper places I should be buying the same holiday from? Prices include half board premium vouchers.0

you could try pricing it up yourself separately (ie do a pricing on the official Disney site for hotel/park tickets only, then do a separate pricing for the Eurostar on the Eurostar site).
Do you really want the half board premium option? You don't have to book that straightaway, you have time to look into it more and decide which, if any, half board option suits you. You can add any half board plan you like to your booking later on.0 -

We're only going for 2 days, 1 night, so i'm trying to plan everything into a short space of time! We arrive at DLP at 11:10am on Saturday & our flight home is at 9:30ish on the Sunday evening. We're planning to eat at McDonalds for lunch on the Saturday with our evening meal at Annettes, & then we're booked in at Cafe Mickey for 12:30pm on the Sunday. I've looked at the ride closures, & the current schedule of events. My little boy will LOVE the cars stunt show, so we've definitely got that pencilled in, & following on from what balletshoes has said I think we'll be heading to the Disneyland Hotel at 4pm one of the days too to see some more characters.
Balletshoes - Can I just check something with you? I'm looking at DLRPMagic & its quoting an adult & child price for Cafe Mickey for the character meals. Do you HAVE to have the set meals? I thought i'd read about a pizza & a couple of portions of fries being enough? I'm just trying to work my budget out!COMP WINS FOR HUBBY & I SINCE SEPTEMBER:2 £50 DOMINOS VOUCHERS, 13 PAIRS OF FOOTBALL TICKETS, MICROSOFT HOME EDTN, 2 PAIRS OF ALTON TOWERS TICKETS, 1 CASE OF PERCY PIGS, 1 PAIR OF LEATHER LADIES GLOVES, 4 COLLECTION 2000 PRODUCTS, PLAYSTATION 3 WITH FIFA 12, 5* HOTEL STAY IN LONDON, SEASON 6 OF SUPERNATURAL DVD, PERFECT PIZZA VOUCHER0
