If you look back about 3/4 pages a lot of people gave me advice about the same week. We are booking the same half term and think price wise we wont get any change out of £1800 all in. Only other way we looked at doing it was with owners direct and geting a gite/apartment near by.

Thanks for the reply. I read the post the other day but fogot about them...dohh.

When you say all in for say £1800, are you staying at a diney hotel with HB? What would the transport be.

We would prefer to fly and not bothered about HB as we like the flexibility.

I looked at June for this year and I remeber that the prices did come down at certain times of the week.

Im keeping my hotel/park/transport budget to £1000 as this is the max...max we could ever afford. It might mean we have to either leave it until the year after or go for less nights. :(

June prices are out now on the official Disney site for next year, so you could see what the prices are like for hotel/park tickets package, and if there are any existing offers for your dates just now.

If you're flying, you could price up now flights for the days of the week you're likely to be using, will give you an idea of the price for that. Then transfers between CDG and Disney - for a family of 4 that could be around 120 euros return.
  • I'd ask the buyer exactly that schofield - and be aware that particular seller has no selling feedback whatsoever.

I bought from eBay, not from that particular seller though. I think a while ago a website had offers on 2 day passes, I *just* missed out on them as buy the time I went to buy them they'd gone. I think a lot of ebay sellers bought in bulk & are now selling them at these prices making a profit.

Thank for the advice. Ive looked at the main disney hotels and it looks promising if I go the lower end. Ive tried to look at price for the partner hotel but according to the sites none are available. Could this be that they have not yet released those dates in june next year or have they already old out?

We are intereted in the explorer or circus hotel as they look to be reaonable accomodation and a few things for the little ones to do.

Are the partner hotels any good and are they usually cheaper than the main disney hotels?

    Thanks

unfortunately they are usually more expensive than their onsite counterparts (through Disney anyway). This is because the partner hotels don't attract the Disney discount packages that apply to the onsite hotels. What you could do, to compare, is do a dummy booking for say mid-November this year for an onsite hotel, then do the same dummy booking for the Explorers or Magic Circus package.

You can book the partner hotels with lots of other agents at room only or bed and breakfast prices, but then you have to add park tickets for all your party.
  • We always staff off-site. For us we'd rather stay in a 4* star hotel & pay the extra for our tickets, than stay in a 2* on-site, but others would prefer it the other way 'round.

We're going to stay at the Davy Crockett, take the slow cooker for evening meals and make up packed lunches to take into the park. We will drive and use clubcard for Eurotunnel. The price breaks down as £1200 (ish) hotel B&B, £300 spends, £150 fuel and toll and the rest for a disney breakfast/meal. Think its about right. This is the cheapest we can work it out.

Hope this helps a wee bit. :)

    Thanks for the reply mcja.

Clubcard and Davy Crocket sounds like a good option. Just lots of travelling in the car. I will investigate and could well be a solution for us.

Thanks to all for their assistance. With it being Jubilee year I only need to take 3 days holiday!!

Tis lots of travelling in the car but we are thinking of breaking it up with a stopover on the way to Paris. Enjoy your research!!
