Disneyland Paris/EuroDisney - Questions & Answers

Hi,
I'm thinking of taking my DD to Disneyland next March for her birthday, somewhere around the 14th. Will be going mid week to avoid massive crowds.
Want to check theres no French holidays then?
The Eurostar is just down the road from me, so looking at between £500-£650 for 2 nights and 3 days for 3 of us including travel.
They seem to be doing 30% off any 3 night stays atm.
Any advice welcome!
I can't decide what hotel to stay in? we won't have a car so if its one further away will need to have a shuttle.
Went last March and only paid £414. Been looking at next March (3 nights, 15th-18th) and best price I have so far (1 adult, 2 kids - 1 aged 7 and 1 aged 4) is £454. This is £183 eurostar (as of today - keeps increasing day by day) and £271 with shortbreaks.com using their 3 nights for 2 Morrison offer (staying at the Cheyenne - its £259 to stay at the Santa Fe). This is for Thurs - Sun but on Sat is St Patricks day when they do fireworks (dont on any other out of season days0 so I think this makes this weekend best. Hope this helps x0 -
Sorry, another question. My sisters have decided to come along next year so I will be going with my sisters and their children and my cousin - in total 10 of us. Was hoping to book it tomorrow and just went on the eurostar website to confirm there are still 10 seats available on the train and its not letting me go through but rather stopping and saying a there is 10 or more in our party then I should send it a group booking request or call tomorrow. I will call tomorrow but was wondering if a group booking means that we will get a discount? A discount would be great
Any one know about group bookings? Thanks again guys

hi all,
dh, ds(3) and I would like to go and stay at dlp for 3 or 4 nights. I would like advice when to go - we can go anytime from 6 November - end of Feb but would prefer to go when less people there than more. I have been looking at the 30% offer on disneylandparis site and wondered if there are cheaper places to book? We would probably look to go on the Eurostar - Also which hotel people reccomend out of the 2/3 star options and any other advice gratefully recieved!!!
Thanks in advance!0 -
Any ideas on price of the souvenirs. I am taking a few things for my children but would like to know the price of mugs? plushes? and keyrings? If anyone knows.
Whats it like during the xmas theme at disneyland paris?0 -

Souvenirs are quite expensive. I bought a few things over here off eBay (plushes BNWT about £1.50!) and took them with me, wrapped them up and left them on my DS pillow each night, it stopped him asking for things whilst we were in the park too!0 -

go check the Eurostar prices direct, then the price for your hotel/park tickets on the Disney site, play about with dates etc on both sites to find your best prices.
generally speaking, any midweek dates outside of French, Spanish and UK holidays, and you'll have a lovely quiet time. January and early February are generally literally freezing at DLP. I like the Santa Fe hotel, its Cars themed now, very colourful in the public areas etc, and the beds are very comfy. The external theme of the Cheyenne (cowboy town) is fantastic, and if your little boy is into Toy Story he might like to stay there.0 -

plushes start at around 7 euros (for little ones which are on keychains) and go upwards to easily 25 euros and more. mugs are around 10 euros, keyrings around 4 or 5 euros and upwards. We don't buy much at DLP in the way of souvenirs because they are so expensive there.

Xmas season is my favourite at DLP, its absolutely beautiful in the main park. They have extra parades, extra shows, and you can meet Santa Goofy and the real Santa. Very cold and possibly very wet though, so wrap up warm and take layers.

I'm going to DLP next Thursday and am expecting it to be quietish.
I was just wondering whether you think I'll need to book restaurants in advance?
At the moment the plan I have is:
Thurs: Annettes
Fri: Wild west show
Sat: Inventions
Sun: Lunch at Cafe mickey/auberge/somewhere else (see how much money I have left - Can I book on the day or the day before at either of these?)
I've got my shareholder pass as well which knocks a bit off the meal prices.
I can't wait!!!!0 -
I have been checking daily to find best deals on the DLP site for this November at hotel New York. Other hotels were offering up to 30% off but unfortunately not NY. Today I check and although NY is still only offering 1 day/night free, both Newport and Disneyland hotel were offering 40% off. May be other hotels as well. The dates I chose were from 20 - 23 Nov.0

you should be fine waiting until the day before to book all of those (except Annettes, you can't book at all for that one).0
