That's a good deal, usually you have to pay extra.

Lol Mikey - never thought about it like that. Will hopefully be booking in a couple of weeks to go back next March and was going to book Cafe Mickey - maybe I should just return to Billy bobs lol :)

Just got back from a fabulous 2 night trip. 3 adults, 2 kids.
I stayed in the Explorer, family stayed in the Cheyenne.
Brought a picnic bag for first day lunch with sandwiches, wraps, and snacks for the kids, (not huge, but bigger than your average lunch box!) had no problems bringing it into the Studios Park, but got collared at the ticket gate by an over enthusiastic Cast Member at the Disneyland Park Entrance.
He didnt budge when we told him that we had taken it into the Studios already, and told my brother to put it in the left luggage area, as it was "forbidden". So brother walked down towards the left luggage place and went in another gate with no problems! :rotfl:

Weather was great. Queues were pretty bad, (didn't get to go on Crush Coaster as it was never less than 90 minutes) but used fast passes wisely and got on nearly everything else we wanted to!
Ate at Rainforest cafe first night, (Ok, but not that special, kids liked it.) Ate at Walts (American Restaurant) the next afternoon, lovely food, bit pricey overall for a lunch, but mmm worth it!
€8 for kids main course: Grandmas Chicken breast fillet with a lovely sauce, grilled whole tomato and french fries. (They cleared the plate - and licked the sauce with fingers- they are not really into burgers/nuggets type of childrens menus, so it was perfect)
€18-30 for adult main course Fish/steak/Duck etc. Cost us €78-with my Annual Pass 10% Discount for 3 adults mains, 2 kids mains and a bottle of still water. Warm bread rolls and butter were included.
Walts Gournet burger was on the menu for €27 I think. Comes with fois gras. We didnt order it! Kids 3 course menu was €14

Am planning to go again for 1 day in September with friends who are emigrating. Their little girl is 2 and is mad about disney princesses. Does anyone know if I can use my dream pass to get discount in the UK Disney Stores like I can in the French stores? I want to get her a Rapunzel constume. Tangled is currently on repeat!

Hey all :) me and my sister (both 21) are booking to go to Disneyland Paris for the first time in 10 days time! Question is before we book it.. is HB worth it? we are worried that if we don't get it it will cost us loads to eat at night.. but I worked out HB will cost us £30 each per day so does anyone reckon you can eat for cheaper than that? We don't mind eating fast food some/most of the time. Thanks :) Also we plan to stay at the New York hotel? is that an alright hotel? mostly I have looked at reveiws that say its overpriced but I realize your mainly paying for location.

Why don't you consider one of the partner hotels? Particularly Dream Castle/Magic circus? I was adamant I wasn't going to stay off site, but after a bit of research I'm going to book the Dream Castle. Much better value, proper brekkie, and a shuttle bus every 15 minutes to the park! Especially as you're both adults so I would imagine that having a disney character wandering around at breakfast time might not be so important to you! ;)

    Jxx
And it looks like we made it once again
Yes it looks like we made it to the end

Which is the best character dining option to see the princess's as a treat for DD1?
We are going oct 21-28th so which day would be best for a princess make over followed by lunch/dinner with characters and how much should I set aside for it?

theres only one character meal at DLP which gives you access to the Princesses - and its the most expensive meal in the whole resort. Its around 60 euros per adult, and 25 euros per child. Its at the Auberge de Cendrillon restaurant in Fantasyland in the main park.

I believe the Princess makeover at the Disneyland Hotel starts at around 40 euros for hair and makeup, and goes up in price depending what other items (accessories, dress etc) you want included in your package. You also pay extra for official photos.

Thanks, how far in advance should the princess meal be booked? Could we see how many we spot in the parks first and book a meal before we leave if DD1 autograph book is a little princess bare?
Her birthdays boxing day so taking dressing up with us her makeover is part birthday present :)

yes, you can book for the Princess meal while you are there, a day or so in advance should be fine (you might not get your first choice of time, but if you're a bit flexible about it I'm sure it will be fine).

For Princesses remember to take your DD to the Cars n Stars parade in the Studios - Snow White, Ariel, Jasmine, Aladdin and Mulan feature in this parade.

Hi. We've just decided to take the kids to Disney in June next year. We want to stay at the Davy Crockett (so we can eat at least one meal in), and then be at the park all day. The offer that they have got on is on until 17.10, but does anyone know if they tend to rotate their offers. (i.e if we wait should we get a better deal)?

I know this is like asking how long is a piece of string but we want to make sure we get the best for our money (dont we all) with 10 months to plan!! Also, does the 10% off meal plan thing tend to run all the time?

    Many thanks all.

    xx
