Ooh, I had a horrible feeling you were going to say that. CParks booked in Jan for hubbys 40th and wanted to make this our summer holiday. Thanks for taking time to help Balletshoes, I really do appreciate this. Its a lot of money and want to make sure we get the best holiday for the children that we can.
if you want to go back to planning for June (half term, yes?) go for it. I've already checked (as a possibility for my own trip next year) - the week beginning 4th June has no other European schools off, so the parks should be pretty quiet midweek. June is a lovely time to go, warm and summery (even if it rains, and sometimes it rains a lot, its warm rain and you can still enjoy DLP in the rain). Its still short park hours and no fireworks/evening parade then though - for that you need to go in the summer school holidays.

Hi, I received my shareholder card on Friday (it took just under 6 weeks from when I faxed off the application form).
Can I use the card whenever I buy anything at DLH? Do I just show the card when purchasing items/food? Is there anywhere that dosn't accept the card?
Always show it early as the staff need to get a manager to authorise it.
Half the time they wanted id, either my passport or annual pass was ok.0 -
Balletshoes, can you be my personal holiday planner please?!?!“Listen earnestly to anything your children want to tell you, no matter what. If you don't listen eagerly to the little stuff when they are little, they won't tell you the big stuff when they are big, because to them all of it has always been big stuff.”0

I can't see any school holidays, but 8th May is a French public holiday, Victory Day, so it might be busier at DLP that day.0 -

Hi all...off to disney in 3 weeks...I have heard from family friends that transport from paris CDG airport is awkward and pricey to get to disney paris ?
We land at 9.30pm on the evening flight. Is there a free shuttle to Disney or at that time will it be a taxi run and how much if anyone knows?
I have googled and can't find much
thanks x0 -
You'll miss the last TGV train (a 10 min journey) & from a look at the timetables on www.vea.fr you'll also miss the last shuttle bus too. A taxi, was around 100 euros last time I got one. You may be able to get the shuttle bus or TGV (www.raileurope.co.uk) back. The shuttle bus is 18 euros each way for adults & 15 euros for children (age 3-11, under 3's go free)COMP WINS FOR HUBBY & I SINCE SEPTEMBER:2 £50 DOMINOS VOUCHERS, 13 PAIRS OF FOOTBALL TICKETS, MICROSOFT HOME EDTN, 2 PAIRS OF ALTON TOWERS TICKETS, 1 CASE OF PERCY PIGS, 1 PAIR OF LEATHER LADIES GLOVES, 4 COLLECTION 2000 PRODUCTS, PLAYSTATION 3 WITH FIFA 12, 5* HOTEL STAY IN LONDON, SEASON 6 OF SUPERNATURAL DVD, PERFECT PIZZA VOUCHER0

yes, at that time of night a private taxi shuttle is probably your only option. If you google for example, ezyshuttle, parisshuttle, rstransports etc etc, you'll get prices for your party. You can book in advance and this will guarantee the price you'll pay.
you could also check rail europe to see if there is a TGV train leaving CDG for Marne la Vallee (the DLP station) after 10.30pm - depending on how many are in your party, it could be cheaper than the shuttles, and once you're on the train its only a 10-minute journey to DLP.0
