the best way (ie quickest and most convenient) for you would be a shared shuttle from the airport to your hotel. rstransport, ezyshuttle, there are loads of shuttles which provide this service. you are taken by minibus usually and even though you pay shared shuttle price, you may not have to share at all. if you do, you should only have to wait at most 20 minutes for another family to join you before you are on your way to your hotel from the airport.
there are other ways - there is the high-speed TGV (check the Rail Europe site for prices/timetable) or the VEA coach (again, check the website for times - price is 18 euros per adult each way). Both of these will probably take longer than a shared/private shuttle would, as you are picked up right at your exit gate at the airport by the shuttle driver, and driven straight to your hotel.0 -
Ok thanks think I'll go with one of the ones u have suggested as they seem a good price. I'd rather go private shuttle or taxi as I don't wanna wait around too long with the kids.

how busy is may likely to be around the first or second week?Make £11,000 in 2011 challenge - £120/£11,0000 -
there are some French school holidays which go on until 5th May 2012 - and avoid the 17th May (Ascension Day) like the plague, its one of DLPs busiest park days. Midweek immediately following the 5th would be your best bet I think.0

Anyone know how I could do a day trip to Disneyland with another person for less than £240? Since park tickets = £100, Eurostar = £140 ...
I really want to treat a friend, but £240 is really steep just for 1 day imo and I don't think I could afford that2013 wins (Oct-Dec): £1000 cash ~ Curse of Chucky Blu Ray ~ Licor 43 ~ Bloom Gin Goblets ~ Epic (movie) Gift Pack ~ Freeze Festival Tickets ~ Angry Birds Mug ~ Cineworld Tickets & Goody Bag ~ Dinner & Champagne ~ Frozen Cinema Tickets

when did you want to go ?
you could wait and see if the SUN newspaper does the deals again ... http://www.thesun.co.uk/sol/homepage/travel/3218344/Family-day-trip-to-Disneyland-Paris-from-950-includes-ferry-crossing.html
you would then get cheap tickets ( just dont turn up for the ferry ,like we did with no problems)
any airports near you have cheap flights to Paris ?
you could use tesco clubcard deals for Eurotunnel, but then you would have fuel & tolls to add on0 -
Think you can use tesco points on park tickets tooMake £11,000 in 2011 challenge - £120/£11,0000

hello again guys.
We won a gold card at morrisons and i called and confirmed and we've received our winners pack.
However we've been going over the numbers and we really dont know how we're going to afford to go
As we dont have passports that will cost £77.50 each for me and husband and £49 for our son. = £204
We looked into getting the train to london from shropshire = £123
then eurostar tickets = £186
so thats £513 before we even got there
Ive read how expensive it is to eat there so for a 3 day stay we're probably going to need £300 just for food, then say £60 per day minimum for spends.
So a rough total of £993.
We are extremely lucky and greatful to win such a fantastic prize. We never win anything and our 6 year old is so excited bless him.
As we've got to go by 28th march 2012 i really dont know how we're going to be able to afford it
With christmas we wont be able to do it this year, however it doesnt give us enough time to save up for it next year.
My husband is a mechanic and im a domestic cleaner and waitress, we pay our way and have very little spare money to save for such a large amount.
for example our family holiday this year was at haven in wales and cost £384 for a week stay.
The cards are selling on ebay for roughly 3-400 pounds however as i claimed my prize my name is on the unique number so only i can book the holiday we cannot sell it.
im so upset as this is a once in a lifetime opportunity for us and our son. we would never be able to afford it. We havent told him we're having problems as it would break his little hearti really really want to take him i just cant see how we're going to be able to afford it in the timescale.
Ive looked into driving and it will take roughly 9 hours and cost £180 return for fuel, so thats a good £130 cheaper. its good that we both drive so we can share it but i dont know how our son will be stuck in a car for 9 hours
I just dont know what to do a feel such a terrible mum for not being able to take our son to disneyland even with free accomodation and tickets. I dont want to let him down...:(
Can anyone help us? is there any other ways i can reduce the cost?0 -
If you take the car, the ferry works out to a reasonable price.
Breakfast is continental, so you can discretely tuck away a few croissants, and bread rolls for snacks in the park.
They have water fountains, keep refilling your own bottles.
There is an auchan nearby, by car, for a few beers in the room, french bread, sandwiches etc.
There is a kettle in the room, for hot drinks, take extra coffee, powdered milk, sugar if you drink a lot, otherwise you end up chasing room service. Pot noodle, pot rice etc if you like them.
There's a Mac Donalds in the disney village, a meal is about £8.
As to the nine hour journey, it's do-able if he sleeps, but there's also about a 40 euro toll return.0
