  • I am wondering what the minimum amount of spending money would be for 1 adult and 1 child for 3nights? The reason I ask is I was supposed to be going with my mum but she couldn't afford to go so I had to pay for her cancellation fees and more than I expected for the holiday, so that was the spending money I had saved gone. I am going in 6 weeks :( and I read the posts on here a lot and I know the food is really expensive without anything else any ideas would be a huge help just so I have something to aim for.

I have some questions please :)

Can anyone reccomend any good places to eat with 3 children? all I have seen is negative reviews the only good ones I have seen is cafe mickey . I am vegetarian so would like to find somewhere that does maybe pasta for me.

In the sequioa lodge do they have a microwave at breakfast?

Are the Montana rooms further away ? Read some of the reviews for this also...so confusing

    Many Thanks

Hi :) what times are they changing to? I hope they are good, I'm going on my hen do next June :)

    Thanks :)

Hi the new times I got told for London are departures at 10.17 and this gets you at Disney at 13.57. On the way home the eurostar leaves Disney at 18.02 which gets you back in to London at 19.47.
With the new times you lose time in Disney as you arrive alittle later and you leave earlier:(

I wish I had of know the times would be different as we have already booked for Disney and booked hotels in London as our connection was to close to the eurostar times. :o

I usually go with just my daughter, so for us I usually budget around 60-70 euros per day - this gives us enough money for a counter service lunch, a table service dinner, and a souvenir or 2 for my daughter. Obviously you can do this cheaper by cutting back on the food budget ie you can buy sandwiches/drinks etc at the train station and bring them into the park with you, and then do McDonalds for dinner, or pasta/pizza at the Sports bar in the Village etc.
  • Yeah I'm gutted you lose time in Disney but it may help me and party get back from London. Do you know if they are running the same days? We are travelling sunday to tues so our train back won't be direct.

Ive been emailing eurostar and they quoted old times!! Grrr

isn't there still earlier indirect routes (ie you change once at Lille)? These routes are more frequent than the direct train, and can be quite a bit cheaper too.

Go on the Disney website and put your details in as if you were to book and it will give you the times of the Eurostar:)

  • After doing some research I decided to drive over and book a 3 day / 2 night package with a hotel room in France for the night before and night after our Disney trip. I figured this way we'd be able to maximize the amount of value we get from the park passes as we can to be in the park from when it opens to when it closes and we should all be nice and fresh as we are not going straight to the park after a long journey.

You can get rooms for ~30 euro's per night - we paid a little more and are paying ~50 euro's but even so with food I think this will only add £150 euro's to the price of the trip.

I'm traveling with my wife and 2 young children. Not exactly sure how it's going to work out but we are leaving tomorrow:j so I'll be sure to let you know :)
