Does anyone know if Princess for a day is open all year round? I'm going on the 22 September.
Also when the park closes at 7pm in September does that mean its less busy in the restaurants at 8/9pm? The way I've understood it is 8/9 is the busiest but is that just the Summer?
Also any advice would be great. My daughter is 6 and we're staying at the DLH.
I'm still waiting for my shareholder card. It's been over a month now? Is that normal?
Whats the princess for the day? Ive booked the disney princess dinner but that sounds fab)
2014 wins-2 picnic hampers,Boxfresh goodies,foodie festival tickets,Polo event tickets,Kent airshow family ticket,£25 Nisa voucher,New Pines holiday for 6,meal for 6,fake tan and mitt,pickled beetroot,£50,£100 Mucky boots voucher.
Thanks and good luck to all! xx:beer::j:money::T0 -
We'll be driving over to DLP in a couple of weeks and staying at Davy Crockett. Does anyone know the best supermarket from Calais onwards to be able to stock up on supplies of bread rolls, cheese, meat and beer etc?0

If you do the 5 share option then at 6E you're paying 5 shares for the club fee, IMHO I'd rather have the shares than pay a fee, remember the share dealing fee will be the same whether you buy 5 or 20. 20 shares would be 120E which is about £100/105 ish add on £12 for sharedealing fee, call it £120 total for ease of reckoning. Shares in the last year have been between about 4E & 9E so it depends which way you think the market will go whether you think the shares will make any money. To make a clear profit i.e. presuming the shares won't be worth anything at all, you would need to spend £800 in shops & restaurants to pay for the £120. It obviously depends on how many of you there are and how long you're going for whether you think that you will do this, but with a buffet coming in at around 30/12E + drinks even the classic 2+2 family are looking at around 100E for a meal, without taking into account places like BBWWS, Auberge Inventions etc let alone the inevitable spending on gifts etc.
Personally I went for the 20 shares, although I paid 7.20E last month having lost my nerve and deciding I wouldn't get it through for my holiday (I had watched them come down from 9E though!) My aim is to sell them for at least the price I paid for them, unfortunately I won't save as much as I could have done as I had already booked the half board vouchers before I took the share plunge, but it's worth a gamble. The other benefit of course is Salon Mickey, if we end up using this (there are 5 of us) it'll save quite a bit in snack money!0 -

It's unlikely they'll crash.
I bought 50 in 2009 for £3.87 each.
15% off the fantasy passport, with the 5 for 4 on the passes as well, they were £83 each.
15% off all shop purchases, (a few items excluded, eg some books).
We've just come back, the parks were full, and getting to the stage where the queues too long to bother going in for some rides.
Fast passes were still ok, but there was even a 10 to 15 minutes queue for the fastpasses for thunder mountain.0 -

Did this happen to be within the dates for the 50% off sales held recently? Also did your trip include/link to last Monday (15th) as I believe that was a French bank holiday.
I hope 1 of those was true as I'm going soon and I don't fancy those queues!0 -
1st to the 16th.
Mondays and Tuesdays were both bad, weekends were full, Wednesday and Thursday were better.
We take the motorhome, stay in the aire de service, then usually settled in to doing a few rides from 10 to 12, then leaving the park, doing something else, then going back in for the evening.
Paris is a reasonable trip by the rer, last time we went a few years ago we spent a week going in and out, (park entry was excluded on the fantasy pass for several day in August, this year was only 1).
And of course we can just take the motorhome out as well.
But much busier this year than last time.0 -
