Disneyland Paris/EuroDisney - Questions & Answers

I thought you booked the hotel and the tickets together and got a voucher. I have just emailed expedia and asked them to clarify how we use the offer, I will let you know. I doubt you could get hard tickets from expedia, just a voucher to exchange them at the gate so maybe this is what you do, you get a voucher and exchange it on the gate.
I have to book a Paris hotel for a nights stay so leave this with me for tonight (I need to ask hubby where we should stay too) and I will see if I get a free tickets voucher with the booking confirmation and I will let you know.
The offer does not expire yet, can you wait until later and I will tell you what I get.0 -

Cos it says this
To exchange the voucher for a 1-Day / 2 Parks Hopper Ticket, you must present your Expedia hotel booking confirmation (printed out), your Expedia paid ticket voucher and official form of photo ID.
I assume they need your ID as it's for uk residents only
How I read it was that you have to buy the hotel AND the tickets from Expedia and exchange a voucher at the booth for your free days tickets. You will get a voucher to exchange, Expedia do not give out hard tickets.
This is why I wanted to clarify with Expedia.0 -
Ok thanks I'm interested to find out how it works.
I read it as both hotel and tickets needed to be bought from expedia but do you get twice as many vouchers for tickets so if I book for 2 nights and buy two tickets would they send a voucher for 4 tickets iykwimMake £11,000 in 2011 challenge - £120/£11,0000 -
I just did a dummy run through and it didnt even give me the option to buy 1 day hopper tickets only 2 day hopper tickets. Am I getting this completly wrong :eek:0

Go onto Attractions linkand look for Disneyland Paris, tickets are there.0 -
Righto, my email got bumped (not res no) so I've called them. I said I was confused about the offer on the site and they said 'it will be easier if you call but then of course, no cashback!!)
Basically you book your hotel through that link, it is selected hotels. Click on the link and go through the list to see who is offering it.
You have to book your hotel and ticket and then you get a voucher to exchange for a free ticket. This can either be used for an extra day or for someone to go in for free.
I do not need tickets, just a nights hotel so I cannot check this works myself but the voucher will be emailed to you.
Obviously 12% cashback is a big draw but still cheap if you call up to book.
ETA: I've just noticed something, when you go through the hotels listed, those with the offer have an orange banner with Expedia extra under the name that says 'Free DLP one day hopper tickets' Maybe we could start a list of those with the offer as there are 1500 hotels to go through in the Paris area. NONE of the DLP area hotels are included. However, if you give them a ring, maybe they will do it for you.

So do you need them in your basket and then go and do hotel booking? Its just strange that when I go to book hotel and it gives extras to add onto the booking it gives disney tickets but not the option for 1 day tickets.
Thanks for your help. The expedia info isnt the best. Especially as it says how to book you just need to book hotel and then when thats done they send you the voucher for tickets. Nothing about having to book tickets with hotel booking. Its all confusing.
I see that you have now explained above. thank you.0 -
Here is an example (hope this works) http://www.expedia.co.uk/Hotels?pmicid=Disney_1&#sb=0&sf=x&pf=x&st=0&nm=0&ar=800098&am=x&pg=0
The top one, Mecure Paris, has the offer, click the tab and it tells you about the offer. I do not know Paris at all well, maybe someone else could suggest the nearest area to choose.0 -
If I could suggest, please take screenshots of these special offers from Expedia for DLP-related products (ie free park tickets etc) when you are booking, also log who it is you have spoken to in phone correspondence etc. Its worth it in the long run - they do sometimes mis-advertise things and then have to honour them (been there, done that). I'm not saying this is the case with this offer, but its not unheard of with Expedia, thats all I wanted to point out

OK, sorting into price order and will post what I have to £100pn. I have work to do so can only give this another 10 mins. I have no idea where they are but remember, a £50 a night hotel 2 ad & 2 ch, can be booked to get tickets worth £200 and ther eis cashback so bear this in mind, just do not stay at the hotel:
Balladins Paris la Villette
Villa Du Maine
Ibis Paris La Villette Cit! des Sciences 19ème
Ibis Paris Berthier Porte de Clichy
Ibis Paris Ornano Montmartre Nord 18ème
Hotel Viator
Hotel Moderne du Temple
OK, so just a few but I've got to get on now, easier to click on the link on the offer page and sort into price order and see what is available for when you want to go and choose one this way. There are 66 pages though...... However, it might save you some money if you are intending to buy tickets only. Shame they had not made it clearer on the website.
Maybe someone can post up the ones that are nearest to DLP, or whether you can get the offer on other hotels by calling Expedia (UK office open til 11pm). If I needed a stay I'd do it, but I don't.
