Hi
Please can someone help me!!!!!
My family & I (2ads & 1 x 3year old) stayed at DLP Sequioa Lodge last year 27.11 to 01.12 and paid roughly £1200 this included the book 2 night & get 2 free, park tickets & flights through First Choice travel agents.
We would love to go back this year, date not yet confirmed but sometime during the warmer months. After reading parts of this thread, can someone advise is it cheaper to book all things seperately & where do I start.
I know you can cheap flights to Paris CDG through Ryanair & Easyjet etc but how do I go about getting park tickets & hotels (one on -site though)?
I've recently joined Quidco too so can it be done through the site etc.
The look on my Daughters face again this year would make my year again so all help is greatly appreciated, thanks!Loves Money Saving Expert so much, my husband says I should marry M.L! :money: Jo - 2k10:j0 -
I've just booked mine for summer.
Totally different type of holiday, as we take the camper for a couple of weeks, and stop at the aire de service there, but some parts read across.
First two weeks of August.
Tunnel was just over £180 for the van.
Tickets £410 for the annual passs.
Booked a couple of nights in the explorer hotel, so we can use the pool etc, as we can't get in the park on the 14th, on the Fantasy pass. (Excluded day)
Had to be the explorers as there are more than 4 of us.
That worked out at £360 for the room for two nights.
I found the best prices for the explorers, and the two vienna hotels were booking directly on the hotel websites, then booking.com gave the next best prices, and you could book the disney hotels through them.
If your daugther is under 7, you'd be hard pushed to beat the price by fishingcinema above for tickets. (and you get extra discount with the annal passes in the shops etc)
I checked a few things by phoning them, but tbh everything is on line in english.
So overall £950 for the fortnight (in August) + diesel.0 -

Generally it is cheaper to book hotel direct with Disney and book travel separately but it's worth checking both options because this can vary according to which offer is on at the time. I believe many people have booked through Quidco but I've never done it myself. If you are staying on site your park tickets are included in the price as is breakfast, you can also pay extra to include half board if you think yr little one will eat enough to warrant it - if she's not very tall under 3's eat free at buffets or from yr meal!
The next thing to decide is how close you want to be to the parks vs how much you want to pay, obviously the nearer you are the more you pay and the better the facilities. Only you can decide which is best for you depending on whether your daughter needs a nap in the afternoon or whether she's happy to snooze in the pushchair. On a personal note I wish I had realised on my first trip that the price difference between all the hotels only related to adults not children. For instance 4n/5days this summer costs £141 for a 7-11yr old regardless of where they stay and under 7 is free.Taking the cheapest price band for an adult the DH would be £2016 for 2xAd which would be your total, the Santa Fe would be £808. Even if you had to pay for 3 children this would still only be £2439/£1231 a difference of £1200ish between top and bottom hotels. Jump to my situation with my eldest 2 counted as adults (and the 3rd due to join them in Nov) and we are up to £4173/£1757 making the difference a whopping £2416. On our first trip my 3 were 2.5 - 7.5 and the difference of being right on the doorstep would have been huge.0 -
Hi everyone we are going to France in mid June to watch le mans racing we have also bought a sun deals to stop in france a week after, were planning a trip to paris as our son has been learning all about the eiffel tower in school Our kids are 8 & 4 we would love to take them to Disneyland for a day also does anyone know where the best ticket prices can be bought from, I'm sure there is loads and load for them to do and my daught loves everything disney princess but £180 + for 1 day seems a heck of a lot of money, if anyone can advice best rates I'd be grateful even if it only knocks a tenner off. Were also considering going to park astrick if anyone know best price for that too. Were stopping in Le mans then Lorie Vally and last 2 days paris any ideas on things for kids to do in these areas gratefully appriciated although we will be busy watching the racing in the first week, which should keep my son and husband amushed :rotfl:Thanks0

Carrefour usually have good deals when you're over there.
If you take the "Fidelite" card when you're in the shop (loyalty card) you can usually get very good prices.0 -

Disney tickets are listed under the activities tag on their home page, then attractions/Paris from there. They quote 15% off gate price for 1 day hopper tickets only but they are £50.71 p.p. OK if the quidco tracks at 12%.0
