Darn. Completely sold out now. Wish I had upgraded yesterday, that is very annoying, they did not say they only had one room left. I've even tried booking a Suite in any of the hotels and there is nothing left AT ALL!! Wow!!
If you are going half term then expect it to be VERY busy, all they have left are a few rooms in partner hotels.0 -

Ah thats such a shame! I second that though, if your looking to book for half term....dont! Its almost full and will be very very busy.0 -

How often is DLP 'full'? I'm just asking because I was trying to get some sort of reference point for how busy it can be. I have been twice - once in 2002,Wed-Sun June half term week (just after the Golden Jubilee bank holidays) and once in 2007 the week before the August bank holiday, Tues- Sunday. Both times were obviously busy being school holidays, but I have no way of knowing how busy they were (if that makes sense!)
I'm going again in August but later this time, including the bank holiday Monday (teenagers fault avoiding GCSE results day!) after the price band changes down, but while the summer season is still on, any idea how busy it will be compared to my last 2 trips? We're already booked for HNY and Eurostar (separately) and I'm guessing as Eurostar only released mid price tickets for the return leg they are expecting it to be busy.
Any thoughts anyone?0 -
I don't think you can ever tell to be honest.
We have booked the 29th for 3 nights because the French Bank Holiday is on 2nd but everyone else seems to have done the same. I bet the bank holiday weekend will be quiet now!!
We went late Nov 2009 and that was a sold out weekend too but I do not think it was ridiculously busy and we could get into the parks fine. I have been on a weekend where we queued for an hour to get into the MK and then gave up at 11.00 and went for an early lunch! That was a BH and we did not know, moving around was virtually impossible and the kids got 2 rides all day. I swore that I would never again be there when it was BH in France.
I do think there are more 'day trippers' on a BH though and it is those that make a difference.
It is not our bank holidays that matter, it is theirs that do. People from the UK are not going to take a trip to Paris for DLP for the day so it being our BH is not going to make any difference.0 -
We are looking to book for the last week of September this year but I know that the earlier 15% offer changed to 25% halfway through. I wonder if this offer will change to a bigger discount halfway through?? So I may hold out a little bit longer.0

Were looking at beginning of Oct & Im wondering the same thing. At least 30% would be better.
I wonder how booked up the park is for these dates?0 -

from the 2nd Monday of October (first week of Halloween season traditionally at DLP) is a great week to go - usually warm weather with the possibility of a little rain, midweek low crowds, and all the fun of Halloween.

the best way i have found was booking with eurostar
tip 1 - avoid going with a disney hotel, they add at least £400 to your overall price
tip 2 - check when the cheapest days are for travelling on eurostar
tip 3 - go with trainline or raileasy to get to london from your home (in order to get on the eurostar). Plus by a railcard for friends and family £26, will save loads getting to london
tip 4 - eurostar will package you a hotel and train, not the disney tickets. book them with the official disney website.
two adults and one child, cardiff - london - disneyland £860! 3n/4d0
