Booking direct with eurostar = £278 Leisure Select
Disney Site staying at the Cheyenne for 3 nights from 27th July = £935 including food and the cheapest room without insurance
Total = £1213 exactly the same which i find odd but there you go0 -
Is there a particularly good place to book packages for DLP ? Do most people go direct through Disney ? Thanks0

found it cheaper to go thru disney but ringing up got a cheaper quote compared to doing it online0

Hi all,
I have got all confused and muddled with the whole Disneyland Paris planning thing.
We would be coming from Plymouth Devon so am not sure if it is cheaper in the long run to fly, with all the petrol costs and ferry or train costs? I like the look of the Davey Crocket ranch because of the animals, pool etc, but then you need the car or car hire, plus my daughter tends to get car sick and they have never been on a plane.
We would be looking at going around the 25th July for maybe a week, 2 Adults 2 Children 7 & 9. This will be our first family holiday so we want it to be a goodun, but not too pricey if poss, as only have from now to then to save.
Is it better to get a hotel there in Disney or just as good and maybe cheaper to get one of the neighbouring ones? I also noticed a lot of deals where if you pay before April you get this and that off, does anyone know if this is a good deal or are they then going to have last min ones for the same price or cheaper?
Sorry for the bombardment but Help!! The site has got me all confuzzled lol.0 -
Does anyone know if Magic hours come with staying on site or do you need to do something extra to use them?
Also with fast passes, how do you get them/do you have to pay?
Is the Princess dinner in DLH dressy/casual? And is it good?
Off to HNY on Friday!!! Quite excited.0 -
hi we have found good prices with easyjet but also have about 3000 air miles to use so may use these for the flights to and from.
is there a shuttle from airport to Disneyland?
we won't get there til late wednesday evening, then have full day thursday and half day friday before we leave around 10pm friday night. Hoping this is enough time there ...
Thanks again
There is a bus shuttle and a train service but if depends from which airport. There's a nice guide here.
Hope this helps0 -

I dont know how long the ferry would take but its worth looking at a plymouth is so close. If you buy through disney on the phone i have heard tat you don't have to pay all upfront - same with a travel agent.
7 days is a lot to be in the disney hotels as they are very expensive and you are paying for disney tickets every day and you'd be hard pressed to find things to do for a whole 7 days there. I'd stay somewhere like the kyriad which is about £50-£100 a night but doesnt include tickets. Then I'd get annual passports which allow you entry into the park for almost 365 days a year at 139 euros per person or 98/99 euros depending on whether you go on certain dates (some annual passes only allow entry on some days). Take a look at these dates here. That way you could go to paris for a couple of days without paying for disney tickets on those days.
Thats £350-500 for 7 days hotel + About £400 in annual passports. Then you'd have to think about food and travel to disneyland paris (plane etc.Does anyone know if Magic hours come with staying on site or do you need to do something extra to use them?

They are for everyone staying on site.
Theres a good guide on how to use fastpass here - its free.
