No I want to book for November 2010 but can't get the calendar to go past July 2010 (well maybe I could if I were prepared to go through every month from 1900 to 2010!!!!)

i noticed that on the flash sale booking page - but once i'd clicked forward one month, then back a month, it seemed to reset itself and start showing the proper months in 2010/early 2011,

    :hello:Hello all

I have read 160pages! Took me a looooooooong time but loads of great tips and ideas.

I've found a great deal for next March, booking direct with Disneyland Paris and have spoken to EuroStar about the prices to travel with them so have got the total for all that but what im worrying about is food!

Looking at the menus on various sites it seems that food is very very expensive so was looking to order the half board standard meal deal. For both me and my birthday girl who'll turn 11 the day before we travel its....

£124 in total for 4 nights...
    So thats £62 each...
    £15.50p each, each night...

Now looking at the prices for the restruants scuse my spelling please, for me and my daughter its gonna be about 20 plus euros each because she eats more then me!
I thought the meal deal worked out pretty good plus you have the bonus of knowing your dinner/lunch is paid for in advance...

Now does that sound like a good idea?
Its just that I don't want to book the holiday without booking the half board option at the same time.

Am greatful for any help at all!
    Many thanks
    Steph

    Hi Steph
I just wanted to check you knew that half board is breakfast and lunch OR dinner.

We looked at it and tought that it wasn't for us but that was because we have a 3 year old who won't eat enough to make it worth while. I would like to do it tho because of the knowledge of no hidden bills. You can go ahead and book your hols and decide later about half board. We asked about it when we booked last year for this sept and as long as you book your half board prior to day of arrival it isn't a problem

    Hi Wendyphant,

thank you for replying. Ye I wish it was for dinner and lunch lol but knew it was for only one but thanks anyway for saying incase someone else didnt know :)

If my DD was younger then ye I wouldnt really bother but as shes at that age where shes "starvin" all the time I thought it works out cheaper if we get the half board plan then use it for the all you can eat buffets.
Do you have to book the buffets or do you just turn up?
Do you only have a certain time during the day to use them?

Im OCD and meticulously try and plan everything and constantly go over it all in my head so if I get on anyones nerves by asking questions please let me know! :o

    Thanks

    Hi Steph

It's best to book the restaurants before you go as they get booked up pretty quickly. Not sure if you can do it online, but you can definintely call them and do it that way. Think all the restaurants and menus are on the website. You don't have to go at any set times. Book breakfast too - we went in June and on the second day had to have breakfast at 10am as they were fully booked before then!!

We had such a fab time with our 3.5 year old and 15 month old that we're looking to go back in December! Am completely gutted that the 40% off deal is no longer on though. It was on yesterday but I guess they've taken it off because of this 5 day summer sale? Hopefully they'll put it back on when the sale's over as I'm not prepared to pay £500 for 3 nights when it was £390 yesterday!

Half board premium is the only one which includes in full Cafe Mickey and Buffalo Bills Show - thats the one which costs around £44 per adult per night, and £17 per child.

steph25 I personally don't think the half board vouchers are worth it - the exchange rate used to set the rates is rubbish, and so by buying the half board vouchers in advance, you could actually end up (depending on where you choose to eat) having spent more on the vouchers than the same meal would have cost using cash etc on the day. Although I do rate the buffet meals at DLP, they can be had for a very reasonable price (Plaza Gardens, Agrabah Cafe, Pizza Planet and Restaurant des Stars are all around 30 euros or less for one adult and one child total) - it really depends where you would like to eat, and if you would use a table-service/buffet restaurant each day. We do, our party is one adult and one 9-year old, but I still won't buy the half board vouchers.

In March, midweek, you shouldn't need to book your meals in advance - except if you want to eat at Cafe Mickey, as that restaurant always gets busy. You can't book your breakfast times at your hotel until you check in, but if you get a late timeslot and you want to be out and about early, you will be fine going to breakfast between 7am and 7.45am - this is usually the quietest time in the onsite hotel restaurants, much more pleasant than any time after 8am.

Disneyland Paris Buffalo Bills Wild West Show Deal Hi everyone, with special thanks to those who posted the deal at the DIBB, thought this moneysaving tip may be of interest to those heading for DLP soon.

Bear with me whilst I try and get this in order...

    The deal is here

    http://idf-offres.disneylandparis.fr...al-offer.xhtml

    It's in french....google translate is your friend.wink.gif

Don't worry about the country being France on the address, it's all gone through fine with my details.

You get a confirmation email which allows you to print your tickets from home.

    The show;

Mickey and his friends Minnie, Goofy and Chip'n Dale invite you onto Buffalo Bill's Wild West Show!
They will take you back to the time of the Old West to meet Buffalo Bill, Sitting Bull, Annie Oakley and the Rough Riders.

Over 100 years old, this once most popular attraction in the West, now comes East to Disney Village. Tuck into a hearty cowboy feast, as you cheer on the kings of the Colt, in a fast, furious tribute to the old West, complete with stunt riders, wagons and buffaloes. The only special dinner show in the resort, so book your seats pronto!

In Disney Village, two shows every day at 6.30pm and 9.30pm (Closed on Wednesdays and Thursdays, except for certain dates).
Duration of the show: 1 hour and 30 minutes

Relive the action and adventures of the "Old West" in 1st category seating:

    - Privileged seating with the best view
    - A non-alcoholic welcome cocktail
    - Sweet treats with your tea or coffee*

The offer is the Buffalo Bill show which is an hour and half show with dinner...the english price is

    2 seating categories
    2nd category :
    Adult Rate : £ 52 Children’s rate : £ 40
    1st category :
    Adult Rate : £ 63 Children’s rate : £ 51

The french offer is for 29 euros....the price is the same for adult and child so I recommend that you buy all adult tickets as you get more food.

Given the prices in disney are shocking for food this is a really good deal, show, food and drink for 29 euros.clap2.gif

    The menu is here

    http://international.disney-village....es/Menuwws.pdf

I think you can only book the 9.30pm shows though.

Also you need to book at least 5 days in advance

I can not book this has anyone else managed to book it ? It keeps taking me to a page that says there is a problem with the page request!! Have been trying for 3 days I want to book it for 28th September 2010 for 2 ad 1 ch I was trying to book 6.30 which was 30 euros not 29 but isn't working on the 9.30 either

Any ideas or has anyone seen any other offers. I tried to book through the french dlp site non offer and it was 160 euros compared with £140 here.
