I've just booked a room with the Kyriad, so i'll need to purchase my tickets. I'm with Quidco. I'll have a look at booking the park tickets through them. Is it easy to get the train from CDG to Disney? Are they frequent and roughly how much is it? Sorry for so many questions, i'll be travelling alone with a little one, so I want to be as prepared as I can be. x

the TGV train takes 11 minutes from CDG airport to disneyland paris, and was great when we went last year and flew (we did eurostar this time) info, timetables and tickets can be booked here http://www.tgv.co.uk/ cant remember prices, but for us worked out the same price as the vea shuttle bus was quoting (and quicker)

the station at disney is called marne le valle de chessy (or something along that, spelling may be wrong)

yes only free park entrance if theyre under 3
Wins so far this year: Mum to be bath set, follow me Domino Dog, Vital baby feeding set, Spiderman goody bag, free pack of Kiplings cakes, £15 love to shop voucher, HTC Desire, Olive oil cooking spray, Original Source Strawberry Shower Gel, Garnier skin care hamper, Marc Jacobs fragrance.
  • Is there a benefit to buying the passes beforehand or is it better/easier to get them on the gate?

buying beforehand saves time, last time we went with my sister we were in the park half hour before her as she had to que to buy tickets! also works out cheaper by 15% buying beforehand plus cahsback if you go through quidco, cashback kings, rpoints etc

Hi all, I would be grateful for any advice or suggestions.
We are thinking of having a holiday in France for oh myself & our 4&a half yr old daughter, she want's to go to Disneyland (ok I admit I'd love it too) but we wouldn't want to spend a whole week there, (unless it's a mega bargain).
So where is good to fly to, preferably from Edinburgh. I was thinking of self catering ideally somewhere of our own with a garden but again flexible.
Where would be a good place to stay we don't mind driving & I seem to remember from years ago that France is actually quite good for driving around.
Would need somewhere that's not too far to drive to disney to.
Also when is a good time to go dd doesn't start school until August so we aren't tied to school holidays.
Hi sorry to but in, but I posted I started a thread but no replies yet, & I thought someone here might be able to help with advice of somewhere to stay which is handyish for disneyland but not right next to it iyswim. any help much appreciated.
    Booo!!!

    Hi Violetta
There are loads of hotels nearby, and last time we went they were building loads more hotels and apartments at Val d'Europe. One time we stayed at the Suite Inn about 15 minutes away which had a kitchenette in it that was pretty good for a couple of nights. Its always worth checking out DLP hotels as they include the passes which are pricey. We have stayed 2 nights at Cheyenne with 3 days in park and it cost the same as off park, then stay somewhere else for the rest of your holidays.
    4 yo will love it!
Driving around there is no problem, although signage to DLP is very poor if not on the motorway.

Can't help with flights I'm afraid we always drive.
Be the change you want to see :j
