  • Hey Guys!

Things coming together here, 3 out of the 4 passports sorted! Though I have been assured the 4th has been issued and on it's way! phewww!!

Eurostar booked, train to London booked and overnight stay hotel in London booked!

We have got our travel health cards, but still need travel insurance. Anyone have any good suggestions?

Currency still needs sorting, unsure of how much we are really gonna need?

Only other thing I am wondering is when do you receive the park tickets? As I haven't received any paper confirmation, I haven't received the tickets either. Will these be collected from the hotel on check in? Someone has already confirmed that I can just take my email confirmation with me to check in with, but just checking all the paperwork / tickets etc for the holiday will be waiting for me at the hotel?

    Thanks in advance!! :)

edit: just remembered what else I was gonna ask!! What kind of plugs do they have over there? Do I need to take socket converters? or do they take standard UK plugs?

Disneyland Paris is a good day out both with, and without children. Just try and go when it doesn't rain!!!!

WE have been to Disneyland before with our 2 kids, but it was November so not overly busy which made it fantastic.

We want to go again but can only go the week before August Bank holiday. Will it be so busy then it will just be horrendous or is it not too bad?

Anyone been at that time of year?

we can only ever go during school hols :(

one of our best trips was Aug 08,yes it is busy ( we were prepared for that but just made use of fastpass and EMH as much as poss!)
but the longer opening hours and nicer weather made up for it :)

also people seem to be in better moods, as not dodging the rain / cold so much ! lol

Sorry I have only been July and September, I would imagine it would be reasonably busy.
  • We're off to Disney on Eurostar at half term and I've just been looking at parking at Ashford Station. On the Eurostar website it's £11.50 per day (we'll need 5 days parking so £57.50 total) but on the national rail website for Ashford station it's £22.50 for a week in car parks A and F.

Does anyone know the difference between the eurostar carparks and the national rail ones? I don't mind a bit of a walk if it'll save us £35. I'd rather spend the money on the kids!!
