yes, we go feb half term every year
its pretty busy, but if you plan your day well, and use fastpasses to your benefit, you will be ok

  • Never been in Feb, we have only been on a day trip in August before, this is our first holiday there. I ordered some of the park guide and maps off of ebay which arrived today, I can't wait for the kids to come home from school so we can look at them and get over excited about it. 26 sleeps to go :j:j:j

Hi all never been to disney before so have a few questions I'm hoping someone can help me with.

I'm not sure how the parks are organised but was wondering if I'd be able to take lunch with us rather than buying on-site, we will be going to a character meal at some point but want to save money where we can.

If we can't take our picnic into the park with us, can we leave it in the car in a cooler and exit the park just for lunchtimes? (Could there be problems getting back into the park?)

Is there anywhere nice to picnic roundabouts?

Is there a charge for parking?

    TIA

it wont be a problem to take your own lunch in with you

whatever you do, do not have a picnic on a roundabout - its very dangerous! ;)

Taking in your own food isn't a problem as long as you don't have a full-on sit down picnic with a rug etc...! Plenty of tables around to sit at so should be fine. As for leaving it in the car, then yes you can leave the park (get hand stamped) but the car park isn't too close really so you'd have a bit of a walk just for lunch.
Thank you to everyone who posts comps! :A

Does anyone think it would be best to buy Traveller's Cheques beforehand or just exchange cash for euros? I don't know what's best. I haven't been abroad since I was a child so I have never organised a trip abroad myself.

Also, do you need any changes of clothes/towels for water rides? Oh and does the hotel provide towels anyway, and a hairdryer??

    Thanks.
