Doesn't the cashpoint charge then? I have a visa debit card.
I use a nationwide visa debit, never been charged to use the machine, and never had to pay a fee to nationwide, (but check with the nationwide as there was some other threads about this changing, but I think that may have been the credit card for cash advances), and it's a good exchange rate.
I use the machine outside Buzz Lightyear, as I usually run out of money in the park as a rule.
Thinking about it, I use cashpoints all over europe, and the states, and I've never been charged any fee for cash withdrawal.
So long as you stick to real cashpoints, like banks etc, and not little shops, it's much the same as UK machines.0 -
i want to go again!!
does anyone know if there will be any offers on in sept/oct for 2/3nights stay?
if i price it up now for going in march it's £488 but in oct (not half term) it's £800.Lead me not into temptation, I can find the way myself.
wins - peroni bottle opener, peroni bowl, peroni coastersx2 and a vodkat cocktail kit,

hi i have now ordered european health insurance cards for my brother(5) and cousin(11) but because of them being under 16 i have had to put them on a application for my mum and auntie. this is fine but does anyone know wether when they come through the kids will have seperate cards or will i have to take my mums and auntie's with me as were taking the 2 kids on our own.
also has anyone had any problems going abroard with kids with different surnames, we have 4 totallly different names as me and my partner arnt married, my brother has his dads name (which is different to my dads) and my cousin has his family name. someone advised us to take their birth certificates as we might get questioned.
thanks for all the help

This might not be much help but when we filled out cards for our family we all got separate ones so should be OK. Not sure if the system has changed though.
As to everyone having different surnames, they are obviously named on your insurance? (or is it a standard where it says 2 adults and 2 children?). As they are both under 16 I would get a signed letter from each of their parents stating you are allowed to take them on holiday (out of the UK). A copy of their birth certificate could be an idea but I assume they have passports of their own so that should be sufficient I would think. You'll no doubt have a great time!
Are you flying, taking the train or driving?Thank you to everyone who posts comps! :A
