thanks Inspector monkfish, you seem to be an expert in this field!! I've booked half board plus so I'll eat at Lucy nugget which is on the list. I would also like to do a birthday do for my dtr who'll turn 10 whilst there. Would a party be better which would cost £52 for 4 of us (inculding 3 year old who doesn't eat much!) or shall I just go for a cake which costs £16.0

If its obvious you will probably need a doctors note to cover you...is it defo slapped cheek??? Because thats not contagious is it? Air France is who we fly with and they are pretty strict with everything, mind you aren't all airlines?
I would try and get a doctors line saying its ok to fly.
found this..
Like other viruses, it can spread through oral secretions. The incubation period is about 10 to 14 days, and your child is most contagious the week before symptoms appear. Once the rash appears, however, he's minimally contagious. Keep him away from other children not only to keep from spreading the virus, but also to prevent him from picking up other infections. You may walk and you may run

This is not medical advice by the way....
Slapped cheek disease is sometimes called Fifth Disease or Erythema Infectiosum. It is an infection caused by the Parvovirus B19 virus. It most commonly occurs in children aged 4-12 years, but anyone can be affected. It is infectious (can be passed on). The infectious period is for 4-20 days before the rash appears. By the time the rash develops, it is usually no longer infectious.
Im reading this as once the rash appears its not (usually) contagious and if I were you I would go by that and play it by ear.....I think you will be fine going on holiday!!!!
hope you have a lovely time!!!You may walk and you may run

Myself and Cathy2702 had her little girls birthday lunch in cafe mickey In october and we really enjoyed it, ok the staff could have been a bit more friendly but as ive worked in busy restraunts myself i know its easier said than done. Lots of characters too and the food was lovely.
