Hi Rachie and Sodamnfunky, thanks for the advice.
Yes, I realise one day isn't long enough but DLP wasn't our real reason for going to France - just an added bonus.
Hopefully we will enjoy it so much we will plan a return visit in the not too distant future.
We are staying at Berny Riviere too so plenty of other things to do in our week.
Thanks again.
Have you been there before ? It's fab
we go again in Oct and will be our third time, its a lovely site
our first 2 trips we did just 1 day @ Disney ( left really early and got back really late!) and like I say it wasn't long enough really BUT we did get quite a lot done ,ride wise
And then last yr when we went for longer ,staying nearby we were able to take our time a bit more and see all the parades / shows etc too

Hi Rachie
First timers at Berny Riviere as well as DLP.
Read lots of decent reports about it so pleased with the choice.
Should be a decent location to take the children to Paris, DLP as well as a couple of other days out.
A taster session really, we will go back to central Paris for a long weekend when the children are a little older and hopefully visit DLP during term time when scaredycat son is a bit braver - bit tricky as OH is a teacher.0 -

We are all really excited about going on sunday :j BUT...... my dd was sick on monday then fine tuesday and wednesday until 9.30pm last night when she projectile vomited across the lounge:eek: was about ready to cancel holiday as cant bear thought of dealing with sick child (or children as have 2 more) on plane or in a hotel room. Cant believe we have avoided all bugs all winter only to be ill now!! DH is more calm and said we will deal with whatever, but i just want everyone to have a good time we have saved too long to have this dream holiday only for some tiny tummy bug to potentially ruin it.
Sorry just wanted to vent, thank you.....Weight 13/06/11 14st 100 -
Oh no, I really feel for you, there is so much going around at the moment. We go in about 10 days and currently have my daughter of school with a chest infection, my husband off with cold/flu thing which I am only just getting over, its a nightmare. 3 days is still quite a long time with children isn't it, you may find in 48 hours everyone is fine again. Fingers crossed.:o0

thank you, sometimes it just takes a calmer more sensible person to put things into perspective. I hope you are all better for your trip.Weight 13/06/11 14st 100

Just a quickie, 4yr old still likes milk last thing before bed any idea where we will be able to get some every day, staying at explorers hotel.
We stayed at the explorers and got milk from the bar or restaurant for free each evening for our little one0 -

I'd phone the doc tomorrow and ask advice on something you could take with you as you will need to pay for prescription drugs if you need them while you are away.0 -
Hi, I've finally booked to go DLP end of March. We're booked for sequoia Lodge.Never been to DLP before. So would appreciate some advice. Dtr is 9 &son 3 so would like to know which rides would suit them as I don't fancy too scary rides. I've booked half board plus so would like to know the best restaurants to eat. Is the buffet better or table service? Also do I have to phone and book the table for the first day before we go? Thanks everyone. This is a great thread!0
