Hi, I am about to book a dlp break in September - we are staying at a siblu resort for 11 nights and have decided to add a 2 night 3 day break at disney on the end... The deal is quite good with the 40% discount so thought we may as well do it whilst we are there!

Anyway am now thinking of adding half board onto the deal - it works out at an extra £112 for 2 adults a 7 yr old and my 3 yr old twins, so that is £61 per meal I make it (Breakfast was already included in my deal).

I was just wondering if anyone can advise if they think it is worth doing..as I don't know how much the food is there...we will be staying at the Davy Crocket Ranch....

    Hi,
It really depends on what you want to eat, and if you want to visit The Rainforset Cafe or Planet Hollywood, as the vouchers are not valid at those restaurants.
With the exchange rate as it is now, and the fact you get a 15% discount for booking in advance, I would say, yes its worth it. Personally I wont for our trip in September, but thats because we will want to eat in one or both of the above restaurants

I have only ever checked in with either email confirmation, or travel agent confirmation letter.

The first time we went, I went with a hand written letter from my travel agent, for the eurotunnl crossing and the Newport Bay Club...
    Everything was fine though

depends what you want from a meal

we (family of 2 adults + 2kids) found it cheaper to just go in places such as Rainforest Cafe, and just have a drink and a main meal, and was coming to just under £50 total each time

The bar at the Explorers sells UHT milk in 1L cartons. You might be better off just bringing some in smaller containers from here in the UK. I remember paying 4 euros for 1L at the bar !!!
