HI all, am looking at planning a trip for my two little ones and unfortunately I have to go in school holidays ( I know it will be very busy), OH is a teacher. Can anyone suggest a 'good' or better than other holiday to go? Would New year be better than October half term for example? Any info would be great,
thanks, Liz0 -
If you get a snack or drink, check the receipt they give you, we didn't notice until day 3 we had been getting a voucher for a free hot drink, but it needs to be used the same day.which was very welcoming whilst waiting for the parade.
we are going on sunday! was it very cold when you were there? i have bought thermals for our 2 little boys but my hubby says i'm mad it wont even be cold! what is your advise as someone who has just come back please?mummy to 3 monsters!

we came back on Friday and took leggings and tights with us to go under the girls jeans. It rained one day and was a bit cold but for the rest of the time it wasnt that bad, even had one day without coats as it was really sunny and warm. I would say make sure you have a rain poncho0

Xmas / new year is VERY busy ! and freeeezing cold !
TBH all school hols are busy ,but we liked going in Aug last yr
as although busy, the warmer weather and later opening hours makes up for that
we make use of EMH and fastpass and can easily do all / most things, we want to in a day or 2
as its nicer weather people arent rushing and barging to get out of the rain / cold, which is what we found happening during our Dec trip
May half term would be nice i think,as the weather is (hopefully ) getting warmer by then, and only UK on holiday during this time i think
The halloween theming is fab,so we are going for Oct half term this year0 -

We are going to Paris for a week in July and have decided to take the children to Disneyland whilst we are there, we are staying with family so we won’t be staying in the park, I have been looking at ticket prices and as we plan to spend two days there the cheapest option is to buy 2x 1 day/1park tickets (£400) as opposed to a 2day/2 park ticket (£434).
So my question is, is one day in each park ok? Is there more to do in one than the other? or are they both jam packed with a full days worth of stuff?
Many thanks

Theres more to do in Disneyland Park ,but still lots to do in the Studios
for an extra £34 i would go for the 2 day hoppers0 -

We went last March 26th ish and it wasn't cold. It was the same sort of weather we get here. The first day poured down and the second day lovely and sunny and neither time we got cold.Wins so far this year: Mum to be bath set, follow me Domino Dog, Vital baby feeding set, Spiderman goody bag, free pack of Kiplings cakes, £15 love to shop voucher, HTC Desire, Olive oil cooking spray, Original Source Strawberry Shower Gel, Garnier skin care hamper, Marc Jacobs fragrance.0 -
I could not spend a hole day in the studios and couldnt stay away from the main park on the 2nd day I think its worth the extra £34 !Wins so far this year: Mum to be bath set, follow me Domino Dog, Vital baby feeding set, Spiderman goody bag, free pack of Kiplings cakes, £15 love to shop voucher, HTC Desire, Olive oil cooking spray, Original Source Strawberry Shower Gel, Garnier skin care hamper, Marc Jacobs fragrance.0

Hi, I'd like to go to DLP via eurostar. I am travelling with a 9 & 3 year old so would you recommend direct eurostar or with 1 change. When I tried to book with 1 change at Lille, although this works out to be cheaper, it says that I can only book for the eurostar journey, does this mean I'll have to book the seats again from Lille to Disney station, as I wouldn't want to sit separately with dtr. Also would I have to take the luggage etc to new train? Is it cheaper to book through eurostar direct or are there other sites I can use such as Expedia. I looked at the holiday package there but it doesn't include the park tickets.0

I'd recommend checking expedia for the dates you require. When booking ours direct through eurostar they also wanted more for the direct train, but a visit to expedia soon fixed that and worked out at £90 for 2 adultsJust check the eurostar your booking is direct or indirect. We also got an additional discount for booking the hotel at the same time.
