Anyone used RSTransport? Our late flight means that most options aren't very easy. Were they OK? and where do we get hotel addresses from for booking.
many thanks0 -
I used this company to get from Beauvais to Disneyland, our flight over was diverted to Lille, Ryanair put on 2 buses to get passengers to Beauvais the journey took just over 2 hours, when we arrived I phoned RST they said they knew about the delay and a taxi would be there in 10 mins, when the driver arrived he said we would have to wait for other passengers as we had booked a shared taxi, the driver said the other passengers were on the 2nd bus and would be arriving in half an hour, 5 mins later he said it would now be an hour, another 5 mins later he comes back and says it will be about an hour and a half, at this point I saw the 2nd bus arriving I said this to the driver and he said it wasnt, so after a wee bit of disscusion I said we would be getting the bus to Paris instead, so I went off to book tickets for the bus 2 mins later got a call from the drivers boss saying the driver would take us to Disney immediately, on the return journey they changed the pick-up time 4 times, on saying all that I would probaly use them again but not a shared taxi.0

Thanks All, I think you're right, only we can decide, but we are finding out where we lie with the insurance co, and the Access pass might be useful, so will be taking the notes with us just in case. Its not our first trip, this is the 2nd time, but our youngest doesn't remember going before so really don't want to cancel. Thanks again one and all for your help.0

Our DD is 8 but doesn't like the bigger rides (tried them last time we went but said 'I'm not doing them again'!). Me, my OH and DS would go on things again but obviously don't want to queue twice. Has anyone ever tried with a child who's not a 'baby'?
I don't think you have to get a pass as such but more information would be handy, from anyone who's done it.
We were there a few years ago now, but the staff let me wait with our girls (who were not babies), and then when the ride finished, I got on, and my OH waited with the kids. Didn't need a pass, or to queue again. Nothing as formal as a pass, but worked just as well! Going again in a few weeks, so will let you know.0 -
I have been reading this thread for the past couple of weeks as we go on our 1st trip in 4 sleeps!
We are all really excited (48/44/14/11).
If anyone has some quick novice tips that would be great
If you have a rucksack (for macs/food/cameras etc..) is there anywhere to leave them when you go on the rides or do you need to have a locker??
As weather is changeable this time of year I'd like to carry some items with us but obviously need to keep them somewhere safe on site.
We are staying at the Newport (AF) and booked half board + vouchers. I've booked 2 restaurants already. We won't be looking at BBWS this time.
We stay for 3 nights/3 days, as we travel Thursday evening.
Thanks in advance:D0 -

The lockers at the entrance to Main Street USA were no in use the last 3 times wehave been, because of security issues. We take our stuff on the rides, never been told not too yet. Some of the rides have shelves and cages next to them so you can put your stuff on them when you get on the ride. We have done this in the past.
The first couple of times we went, we jumped on the train to Frontierland, and mooched around there to begin with, as most people seem to head down Main Street. Also eating is best done before 12.30 and after 2pm for lunch.
There is an all you can eat buffet in Plaza Gardens at the end of Main Street USA, not sure of the price, as we have never done it, but it seems really popular and I have been told its great value for money.
When you are feeling like a little time to relax, jump on the train and take a trip around the park a couple of times, its amazing what else you see.
Oh and if the weather is nice, you have to do Panoramagique in Disney Village. Its worth every penny IMO to get a view of the resort from the air.0 -
We just got back on Friday and it was fab.
We drove which was through the Euro tunnel and 3 hours to DLP was so easy. As we drove we had salopettes in the car which came in handy on Tuesday as it was very wet but we stayed very dry and spent most of the day in Studios as their is a lot of inside stuff to do their....and the tower of terror which my 6 year old loved (shes mad!!)
We went half board, as the park is only open until 7pm at the moment we always used our vouchers for dinner. We ate in Annettes Diner, The Steak house, Hunter grill & last night upgraded to Mickeys Cafe (you only pay for anything extra over your vouchers), all were fab and well and trully filling.
We took ham sandwiches from brekkie and had that for lunch also if you are going to buy disney stuff then get the kids a disney bottle on arrival as it is worth it as you can fill up with juice, milk etc from breakfast and makes it very worth while.
Beer is very very expensive between 6.50 and 7.50 euro a pint. I would advise to take drink with you as a small bottle of coke if like 4.50 euro.
It was good the kids loved it we went Mon-Fri and dint actually go to the park on friday we were just so tired.
Best thrilll rides i think were: Crushs coaster, Tower terror and the Space one.0 -
We just got back on Friday night, had a great 5 days ( although we were exhausted by day 4) I would recommend getting your place for the parade early. they start to stop you walking thro the castle about 3.30. We found sitting on the stone seats at royal castle stage to be a great spot and then you can get the most of the rides while most people watch the parade on main street. We took drinks and snacks with us as they are so expensive, and went half board for our main meal of the day. Toad Hall do a great fish and chips , tomato soup and drink for about 10 € . Rendevous des stars in the studios is also a great place to eat , its all you can eat buffet and covered with the half board vouchers. A chef comess around the tables with little Remi underneath a closh. Great fun. If you have girls hang around the back of the castle around 12 - 12.30 for the princesses. We saw the ugly step sisters singing and putting on a good show - very funny. Also see woody and jessie in frontier land, near woodys round up we found it very quiet there.0

If you get a snack or drink, check the receipt they give you, we didn't notice until day 3 we had been getting a voucher for a free hot drink, but it needs to be used the same day.which was very welcoming whilst waiting for the parade.0

Hiya,
We are going to Paris for a week in July and have decided to take the children to Disneyland whilst we are there, we are staying with family so we won’t be staying in the park, I have been looking at ticket prices and as we plan to spend two days there the cheapest option is to buy 2x 1 day/1park tickets (£400) as opposed to a 2day/2 park ticket (£434).
So my question is, is one day in each park ok? Is there more to do in one than the other? or are they both jam packed with a full days worth of stuff?
Many thanks
