  • I just did the one night two day staying at santa fe travelling on Eurostar and paid a lot more than that so I say go for it.

Thanks for the advice. Booked the eurostar and hotel for £194 for 2 adults. Just need to book the tickets seperately as Expedia wanted £200 extra for tickets and its cheaper to buy them on their own.

Disney website is quoting £76 per adult for a 2 day / 2 park hopper ticket. Anyone know anywhere cheaper or is that as good as its going to get?!
  • Simbak2k, could you please advise who you have booked with for hotel+eurostar? I checked expedia but could not find this deal that you mentioned.

I am looking for easter weekend at disney, paris and can't find any cheap fares/ hotels at disney.....

    Hi,

You have to be very picky with your dates! We booked Sunday 10th May - 11th May, Easter weekend is about twice the price at £385. I looked into it in great detail the last few days and theres a few cracking dates for certain hotels. Hotels are cheaper Sunday - Thursday mostly, and the Eurostar seemed to be cheaper Tuesday - Thursday. However I think we got lucky as expedia priced the tickets for Eurostar at £45 each but if you book direct with eurostar its £80 each.

If you want it cheaper you'll have to avoid the bank holidays I'm afraid

    Hi,

I am looking to book a two night/ three day stay in June and was thinking of adding the half board plus option but am slightly confused about it! On the website it had quoted me £104 and Disney on the phone quoted me £92 how do they get to this price as the lady on the phone said it was £21 per adult per night and £10 per child per night for June ??? Also i have read that you get the vouchers for the number of nights so would get enough for two meals each as staying for two nights? Could anyone advise me if it is worth doing or would I be best to just but food there
    Thanks

i dont know how they came to the difference in prices, but with the exchange rate so poor at the moment, it is best to go for the meal plan.

yes you will only get tokens for 2 main meals, and as breakfast is included, then depending on how big an eater you are, you may need to buy another snacky meal at some time during the day, espec on your last day, as you will only get breakfast

i think its about a million pounds to upgrade to buffalo bill.... but you do get a free hat with that....;)

i was at DLP last week (had a superb time), and noticed in the Disney Village that Rainforest Cafe had half-price kids meals, as did Ludwig castle (the german place)

Cafe Mickey service and food was shocking (but we may have just had a bad evening !!)

the Baguette place next to the Sports Bar is also very good if all u want is something quick

inside the park, ptetty much ALL the food places are awful, unless you want to pay up and go to the Lucky Nugget, Steak restaurant or Princess restaurant - your vouchers may well cover that though, so you wont have to worry about the bad places !
Please take the time to have a look around my Daughter's website www.daisypalmertrust.co.uk
    (MSE Andrea says ok!)
  • On the disney website it says for magic hours you have to book a package at the hotels. As we've booked our tickets seperately from the hotel do we still get magic hours? Our passes will be on the same days we're staying in the hotel but it depends what they class as a "package".

Has anyone booked the hotel and tickets seperately and got extra magic hours?
  • as far as i know as long as you are staying in a disney hotel you get to do the emh. You get a special pass when you check in separate from your park passes from what i understood
  • Yeah can confirm that at the hotel (as long as its a disney onsite one) you will get your extra pass to use for the EMH. Upgrade to BBWWS, do it out there, atm Santa Fe have a sign up in reception offering 50%, We paid £92 to add 2 adults and 1 child 2nd category for 9.30pm sitting and was upgraded to 1st category when we arrived, oh and we arrived 20 mins before show started and had no rush at the bar which was empty.

I did notice that around the entrance to the parks there was signs on lamposts saying 1 day 2 park tickets 29euros, dont know how long this offer is on for though.

    Hi All

Has anyone else had cause to complain to Disney before they actually get there? I've been "trying" to complain to them since January regarding a refund that they took 6 weeks to process to my credit card (incurring interest etc). I've emailed Disney admin about 3 times and they have never replied, I've written to an address in Doncaster which someone at Disney gave me, no reply, and I've sent a recorded letter to the correspondance address in France over 5 weeks ago, again, no reply.

I am at my wits end with them, all I want is the courtesy of a response and its really spoiling the run up to our trip in March.

Any ideas of where to go next?

    Thanks for reading.
