we are off in a weeks time, just a quick Q... as im worrying now we dont have enough spends..lol
on average how much would a family of two adults and two children age 10 and 2 need for spends including meals for 4 days? just a rough guess as we dont have a clue how expensive things are there..lol

dont know your exact answer but i have been trying to work out how much to budget when i am away in a couple weeks time, and found this really usuful, its a dlp food guide site for the restuatarants inc menus and price guides, so you can see what there is and at least have an idea of prices

    http://www.dlpfoodguide.com/index.php

    for example http://www.dlpfoodguide.com/menus/annettes_menu.html

click on the area/food types, then click the name of a resturant, then above the general overveiw there is a red bar (with menu, food type etc on it), click on menu and then change between brekki, lunch and dinner

there is also some info here http://www.magicalkingdoms.com/dlp/menus/index.html

I am staying in the Adagio apts £60 p/n if you book 4 nights you get it for the price of 3, I was going to buy 3 day passes for £92, but I have just seen on the DLP website you can get annual passes for 89 euros.
  • Posted earlier in the thread that we are off to DLP ,3 weeks today we will be there in fact :)

Anyone know if it's easy enough to get into the centre of Paris from DLP ?? wanting to go in & see the Eiffel tower etc .

    Ta .

By booking seperately do you still have the ability to leave your cases with Eurostar for onward delivery to the hotel room (meaning you can go straight into DLP), and also when you come home you check your cases out via your Disney hotel and they will be loaded onto the Eurostar for departure, again meaning you can go to DLP case free?

    cheers

No you can't but tbh we didn't need it, either time.

We went straight to the hotel and the room was ready both times, so we dropped off the bags, had a quick drink and set off for the parks.

We were in Fantasy Land by 2pm this time and the train got in after 12.30!

On the last day, we put them in the luggage room and popped back to get them later - no hassle at all.

It would not have been worth the extra money we'd have spent on a package.

I guess it is more worth it if you have less days or it is a busy period though.

Woooooo Hoooooooo I've just booked our flight for going to DLP on 8th March-and they'd come down in price since I last looked too-BONUS!!!

Now for the serious stuff....we have a Nationwide account we use for holiday spends abroad...can anyone tell me about the availability of cash machines in the area-or would I perhaps be better to have the cash card changed for a debit card? ( I don't DO credit cards-don't trust myself to be disciplined enough:o )

Further to inspector monkfish's post, they have them in the park too, about half way down the arcade behind Main Street, on both sides.

we are looking at adding hb option onto our holiday, only problem is when i rang they said me and my hubby would have to pay13euros and for our 10 year old it would be 6, however they said you dont pay for our 2 year old?? does that mean she wouldnt get a meal?or would we have to pay for her in at each meal? she may be 2 but can eat as much as our 10 year old so i would have thought she would have needed paying for as i dont think she would be happy eating of our plates????

the site is not clear, as it says has to be booked for each member of the party aged 3+ but doesnt make it clear if tots eat for free or that you have to pay for their meals, might be an idea ringing to check

edit, just checked the paper brochure and it states: "child inc 3-11, for children under 3 please call us"
