when i was looking i found expedia had the best prices for us
does any one know if there is kettles in the room at santa fe or wether they can be hired from reception??
you don't have to hire them, just ask at reception when you check in and they will supply you with one. Same goes for hairdryers. Please take the time to have a look around my Daughter's website www.daisypalmertrust.co.uk

have you tried expedia? they had the best deals when we were going, or how flexible is the date, as that is main summer hols i think so it will naturally be more expensive
also you may want to consider off site hotel rather than santa fe as they are cheaper often than disneys own site, i know when i was contemplating hotels hotel val d lysee was one we were considering off siteMFW#105 - 2015 Overpaid £8095 / 2016 Overpaid £6983.24 / 2017 Overpaid £3583.12 / 2018 Overpaid £2583.12 / 2019 Overpaid £2583.12 / 2020 Overpaid £2583.12/ 2021 overpaid £1506.82 /2022 Overpaid £2975.28 / 2023 Overpaid £2677.30 / 2024 Overpaid £2173.61 Total OP since mortgage started in 2015 = £37,286.86 2025 MFW target £1700, payments to date at April 2025 - £1712.07..0 -
Just got back yesterday from DLP and we flew from Manchester to CDG then took the TGV. It was sooo easy i was really worried as i've never been anywhere unless it was 'package'. We got off the plane followed the signs for baggage then took the shuttle to Terminal 3 which is all easily signposted then as soon as you get off the shuttle and go up the escalator/lift the station is just there right in front of you everythings really easy to find worked out so much cheaper than the VER. We had me DH and 3 DD's (9,7 and 2). The only hassle we found was coming home where CDG security check your bags was horrendous we thought we were getting to our gate too early but glad we did took us 50 mins to get through to our gate. I can honestly say CDG is the worst airport i've been to. But the actual travelling between airport-tgv station-dlp and back was really easy. I'd definately do this again next time.
Btw we stayed in the Santa Fe HB it was busy enough for us i'd hate to see summer but in the actual parks there were hardly any queues at all. We chose to use our vouchers in the hotel restaurant just for ease really as all the other restaurants close around 6ish (except Annettes Diner which isn't really our kind of thing). We found the La Cantina to be really nice always seemed to be well stocked. I'd definately recommend using Hb vouchers in buffets as other restaurants didn't seem to be as good value.

The cheapest option for us (both times), when everything was added up, was to book the hotel through Disney (don't forget Quidco) and the train through Eurostar.
To get the best prices, Eurostar is best booked early.
By booking seperately do you still have the ability to leave your cases with Eurostar for onward delivery to the hotel room (meaning you can go straight into DLP), and also when you come home you check your cases out via your Disney hotel and they will be loaded onto the Eurostar for departure, again meaning you can go to DLP case free?
