Just back from a few days and a few tips which may help people, as people have helped me....
First tip if you are travelling easyjet ask what your baggage ticket number is when you check in! We lost a case and Liverpool had not given us a ticket number which made it more difficult to explain! ( we are now home and luggage is in Malaga!)
We arrived late and just got a taxi from outside, which cost 80 euros with a tip so just as cheap as getting a taxi booked earlier.
Holiday Inn very nice, would happily stay there again, and very easy to make sandwiches at breakfast to keep for our lunch!
Pink shuttle buses are great, very frequent, they are number 54.
In the park a wet Friday night was the best time for rides, daughter and husband managed to get on Indiana Jones twice in ten minutes!
Crush's coaster was the best for rollercoaster junkies apparently according to said daughter and husband, but was a bit too scary for youngest daughter or I to attempt!
Not really worth getting a fast pass for Buzz lightyear, only really cuts about ten minutes off the queue as you still have to queue inside.
Got out tea from Caseys hotdogs on Main Street, really nice hot dogs and ideally placed for the parade.
We had a fairly early flight home but the pink shuttles start at 6.30 so I pre booked train tickets on the internet from Marnee ( right next to Disney) straight to Charles De Gaulle. Had to collect our tickets from the two big blue machines near the ticket office, but on the day you leave make sure you get them stamped by putting them in the little yellow machines around the airport. (I assumed there would be a guard down by the line but there wasn't and had to quickly run back upstairs!) It's only one stop to Charles De Gaulle terminal 2 and then the airport terminals are clearly signposted.
Final tip, there are no shops past security, but you can buy water etc in the shops at check in and take it through.
Hope that helps someone, any more questions please ask!0 -

. One thing, I have read quite a few negative reviews over the last couple of months about the Holiday Inn. Apparently, although it is still called Holiday Inn, it has been taken over by another company and there have been loads of problems with check in, cleaning and the food. Not that I want to put you off booking, but you might want to check out Tripadvisor before booking.
Just notices this, we stayed there and had no problems at all, I did see a few queues at check in but none whenever we wanted to ask something. Very clean , breakfast very nice, I would definitely stay there again!0 -
i have had a suggestion from a friend as well, who has also suggested as we internd to spend a day/evening in paris, that we could get a cheap hotel in paris (a couple i have found on expedia for around £50-£70 for the nights, not bad really considering it will only be an extra £25-35 each, including Hotel d'Amiens, Lyon Bastille Hotel, Le Havane, Hotel Monte Carlo ) and suggests what they did when they went to disney the same lengh of time we did (4 nights, with almost 5 full days as the flights we are looking at land in paris on the arrival day at 9.10 am and the flight departs on our last day at 6.45pm) and what they did, instead of packing, had the disney hotel booked for all 4 nights, (as the price they got when booking was not much differrent doing 4 nights vs 3 nights, ) they left their bags at the disney hotel and took a small back pack with clothes to wear the night they were in paris, and left the rest of their stuff at the disney hotel
how they worked it out was
Friday am - arrived in paris, went straight to hotel, checked in and dropped off bags, went to one of the parks for the whole day
sat am - got train from hotel to paris itself, checked into paris hotel spent saturday day (sightseeing in day and night in paris (they went to moulin rouge and an evening cruise on the seinne)
sunday am - couple hours sight seeing then had lunch and got train back to hotel in disney land
sunday afternoon - spent afternoon at one of the parks
monday - at parks and then shopping later on then back to disney for some wild west show??
tuesday - at park for a few hours, then went to collect bags to get train to airport to catch the flight
what are peoples opinion on this, do you think we could manage it, myu friend did, but dont know if that was a fluke or not, they did say they were exhausted when they got back thoughMFW#105 - 2015 Overpaid £8095 / 2016 Overpaid £6983.24 / 2017 Overpaid £3583.12 / 2018 Overpaid £2583.12 / 2019 Overpaid £2583.12 / 2020 Overpaid £2583.12/ 2021 overpaid £1506.82 /2022 Overpaid £2975.28 / 2023 Overpaid £2677.30 / 2024 Overpaid £2173.61 Total OP since mortgage started in 2015 = £37,286.86 2025 MFW target £1700, payments to date at April 2025 - £1712.07..0 -

!
depends what day you are there / time of day!
have seen very loooooong 55+ min queues for Buzz on a wkend
and so having FP is a must IMO
as cuts out all the outside bit of queuing, which when in full use is a loooong way!0 -

Fair point, just don't think it will get you to the front of the queue, as it won't ! Great ride though!0 -
Just a very silly question if i may.
DH and I have never been to Disneyland Paris, well DH has as a coach driver. We are both 40-50+ and the only reason considering going is because I have never been and am a big kid! Just wondering however if it really is worth it if you are not into the rides etc? Should we perhaps just do an xtra day in Paris instead sightseeing? Just dont want to spend a lot of money on the Park if not really doing any of the rides etc.
Any thoughts?
Thank youI am somebody. I am me. I like being me. And I need nobody to make me somebody! Louis L'Amour0 -

Thank you
my MIL came with us on our last trip
and only went on the "gentler" rides lol
POTC (pirates of caribbean) ,IASW ( it's a small world) etc
she however loved the parades, fireworks, stunt show, tram tour etc
and eating in the restaurants
if you compare to what it costs to get into a UK theme park for the day,DLRP is much better value all round!
IMO of course0 -
looking for some advice
thinking of going to disneyland on a weekend, either aug or sep, family of 5 and the explorer hotel came out at £400-500, are there any cheaper hotels that do for 5 people in one room? also wanted to know about transport, unsure whether to fly there etc
and do disneyland do the guest assistance pass like florida do?
thanks0
