awww gutted :( I'll miss the halloween show by hours, have to catch my flight at 10 on the 17th and the show starts at 8 :(
Do you think they will delay the flight for me by a few hours
    :rotfl:
    I heart The Capital ;)
  • When I spotted the dates for the Not So Scary party I wondered if you were all leaving on the Friday, thats a shame but at least you will see the decorations.

    Yoo hoo!!!!

I have to say although it will be lovely to see the decorations, I really dont care about missing anything.

I'm going to disneyland Paris, just seeing dream castle alone will make me cry - 49 days to go!!

Do you think I'm being stupid taking an extra bag to carry gifts? My DD wanted a minnie mouse dress the other day in the disney store but I wanted to buy her as many gifts actually in Disney itself, I think it'll be better!!
  • I don't know about being better but it will for sure be dearer due to the exchange rate:)

Oh forgot about the exchange rate oohps!! Good point Edinburghlass

My thinking was that if I'm going to save and save to bring her to Disney, I may aswell do it right, so I've really had to be careful and scrimp everything to go. I reckon I'll have £600 spending money for the 3 & 1/2 days and tbh I have said she can have anything she wants, she's such a good little girl, totally perfect

Extra case it is then hehehe

  • going back to Davy Crockett for the first visit in 7 years next week. Yippeee.
Cannot remember if we have to take our own bed linen and towels though. Please can someone remind me - been on Disney site and cannot find the answer.

We stayed in the DC just 2 weeks ago.

Bed linen (and blankets) are provided and there are a few towels there. Can't remember how many as we had taken our own but I would say definitely 3 or 4.

Oh, and you get the lovely little Mickey Mouse soaps as well

If I remember rightly, the minnie dresses are about 40 euro, the headbands (with the ears on) about 8 euro. There are also huge helium balloons for 7.50 euro (ours is still inflated now, 2 weeks later) I would think £600 for the two of you should be fine although it is very easy to go totally overboard!
