Yeah, try and get a good view for Dreams, it's a fantastic show, better than anything that the US parks have come up with for me.

Wish I coulda got a slightly better view, although it was still fine, but didn't get the full effect.

Our recent Halloween visit was fab, hope to get back and try out Xmas next.

Thanks, how early do you suggest please? :)

I'd say try to see Dreams on 17th or 18th, and if you can keep the kids occupied, get your spot about an hour before Dreams starts.
  • Thank you for all your help and advice so far balletshoes, you've certainly made this all easier for me and I think I'm as prepared as I'm going to get. We go in a couple of days and I've managed to keep it a secret from the children all year, I can't wait to tell them. I just have a couple more questions, do the hotels have towels in the rooms or do we need to take our own? Also are there kettles/tea/coffee in the rooms or do I need to take them too? :)

Towels are provided, but no kettle etc. when we stayed there in February.

We got back yesterday from DLP (stayed at Radisson) it is quite busy in the parks even midweek. Are you there over the weekend? If so, be in the parks very early as it is positively heaving. Queues to enter the car park were astronomical when we were leaving on Saturday morning.

    Have a great time!

  • Sorry I'm back with more questions.....I have read this somewhere but forgot to write it down, where does the Eurostar stop when we get to Disney and how far is it to the hotel Santa Fe from there? :)

The station at DLP (Marne la Vallee/Chessy) is right outside the entrance to the parks. You can get on a yellow shuttle bus outside the station - the bus stop/bay for Santa Fe is located first in the line of DLP hotel bus stops, i.e. Nearest to the train station - they arrive every 10 mins or so (the stops & buses state which particular hotel they are servicing) , alternatively to walk will take around 15 mins - head through the bag/luggage check and through Disney Village and keep walking - easy to find as it is signposted.

Can help with some of the above:-

Disney Dreams (light show and fireworks) is held every night at closing time

Day ticket to annual pass - AFAIK you can upgrade as long as the ticket isn't part of a Disney package and/or doesn't say Forfeit on the back

Sorry can't help with parade times (don't pay too much attention to them) or Planet Hollywood as we have never eaten there.
