We are staying at kyraid hotel it says its 10mins from park was thinking of the lunch with princesses but thought it was very pricey so wasn't sure if it was worth it planning on 2 days at park just need to book tickets xx0

just looking for some advice on behalf of my sister in law.
they are planning on going to DLP either 5 to 9th April, or 24th to 28th May. 2 adults and 2 kids (4 and 7). Would like to stay onsite so they can have the character meet and greets etc...
It seems to be about £1066 with the euro tunnel or 962 without. That is for the Santa Fe or £1151 for Sequoia Lodge (without travel). Neither have andy meal options.
I've checked a few different websites and can't get it any cheaper - can anyone else do any better or offer advice?0 -

That's 10 minutes on a bus.
If you want to see 3 princesses at once, do the lunch. Otherwise you'll be waiting in a 2+ hour queue to see one. If you rejoined the queue straight after you could end up seeing the same one again. There's no way of managing that.Trying to be a man is a waste of a woman0 -

What character meet and greets? They only happen at the Disneyland hotel now.
Breakfast is included at those hotels. Are they school holiday weeks? You're going to be paying lots more to go then.Trying to be a man is a waste of a woman0 -

No, they don't.

ask your sister-in-law to check the French version of the DLP site instead of the UK one - as one of the children is aged 7 the French site deal may work better (and try checking in midweek, and for 3 nights instead of 4 on the French site).
Different countries get different deals, and anyone can book using any country's site, regardless of where you live.
You could also look at buying annual passes for park tickets and staying offsite but nearby (loads and loads of hotels in the area of Disneyland Paris) booked through the likes of expedia, ebookers, travelrepublic, hotels.com etc
There really isn't much advantage to staying onsite nowadays, unless proximity to the parks is your main priority.0 -
Hi, I'm looking for some advice if possible please. After stressing myself out trawling the web for some options, I've ended up more confused than I was to start with!
I've only been to Disneyland once before and that was staying offsite in 2006 with two young kids. I've now got 5 children and we would like to take them midweek in the second week of November as two of them have birthdays. Their ages when we go will be 17, 14, 8, 5, and 3.
What are the best options for staying in a Disney hotel with a large family?
We were thinking of driving and staying at DCR paying for two cabins but that would mean splitting us all up, an adult in each cabin. I priced this up on the official site as roughly £1300 for 4 nights/5 days without the channel crossing.
Another reason for staying there would be that my eldest daughter has Prader-willi syndrome so is on a strict low fat diet so self catering would be best for her and cheaper as there are 7 of us.
Or we could book interconnecting rooms at another hotel, I'm really not sure what to do for the best and for the cheapest option? I don't like the thought of us being apart to sleep really. Maybe paying for half board in advance may help with budgeting while we are there and I could plan my daughters meals also. I've read so many different things in the last few days, I'm feeling a bit frazzled!
Any advice would be gratefully received0 -

apart from a villa nearby (so not onsite), I can't think of any way your whole party would be able to stay in any accommodation at DLP, as you are all aged 3 or over.
You can book 2 onsite standard rooms, and ask for them to be interconnecting (all the onsite hotels have these) but theres no guarantee you'll get them.0 -
Thanks for the quick reply. I read that they can't guarantee interconnecting rooms which is frustrating!
Thanks for your help, maybe a villa will be the best option for us then. I'll have a look what's available0
