yes, its been the case for years - but you have to renew your AP within one calendar month of its current expiry to get the 18-months for the price of 12 months renewal offer.
  • no, you can't upgrade any park tickets included with a hotel stay to annual passes, as these tickets on their own, have no monetary value (they are stamped with Nil or Forfait on the price part of the tickets).

It might be a better idea, depending on how many there are in your party/ages/adults/children etc to book only one adult in on the January package (plus any free kids) and then get APs in January for the others in your party. Then you add the AP holders to the room at check in, for only local taxes (around 3 euros per adult per night added to the room).

Thanks for your help, will have a look at this option ;)
  • I'm looking to take the kids to disneyland Paris next Whitsun (I think French schools are still open), and do a few nights camping either side of a one night stay at disneyland. I've had a look at prices and the cheapest I can find is around £420 for one night/two days based on 2 adults and 2 kids staying at one of the offsite disney hotels. Is this a typical price, or should I expect discounts to appear at any time?

    Cheers!

where are you getting your one-night stay price from Dave? You might be better looking at another countries version of the DLP site - they get much better offers for a one-night onsite stay compared with the UK offers, because their target audience will do one night and 2 days, whereas typically UK visitors want a longer hotel stay.

It may be too early to get a good offer (30% off and kids under 12 free is a good deal for a one-night onsite stay including park tickets for all) for May yet, you might want to look at the start of next year.

Also, if you only want 2 days park access each, and are happy to stay offsite but nearby, you may find it cheaper to stay offsite and book a nearby hotel/apartment separate from park tickets altogether. I wouldn't book an offsite hotel and park tickets package through DLP, they rarely have good discount prices for their offsite/partner hotels.
  • Balletshoes, you could probably help me. Wanted to take advantage of the free half board, which we love, and go before the end of March. Problem is son will be taking GCSE's and therefore shouldn't really be taking him out of school. Hubby is loathe to go in easter hols as he thinks it will be manic. Have you been then? Only other option is to go later in the year when and if they do the offer again.

    Thanks.

when are your easter holidays? as long as you avoid easter weekend itself, and your easter holidays don't clash with the French school holidays, and you go midweek, you should find it pretty decent for crowd levels. We went this year at the start of April, just before the French kids started their school holidays, and it was fine, I'd go again at that time, lovely weather too :).

eta - heres the link for the French school holidays, they don't start until 11th April next year -

    Hi Guys,

We are going to DLP on Friday morning until Monday Evening. We are a family of 4 (Me, OH, DS aged 14 and DS aged 8)

How much spending money would you recommend please? We are travelling with another family and they are taking £1000 but I might not be able to afford as much as that :-(

    Many Thanks.

for 4 days food and snacks I'd budget £100 per day, thats plenty once you know what you're doing (have a look at the DLPguide.com restaurant menu section).

Then personally I'd budget £50 each if its your first time to DLP, for souvenirs.

I can do it on way less than that, but I don't really buy souvenirs there anymore.
