    Hi there
I am thinking of going to dlp next year and have a couple of dates in mind. It would be in school holidays which here leaves either feb 5th-9th or june 25th onwards. I have got some prices off the official website and just wondering if someone could give advice which they think would be best. ...
feb dates come in at £460ish for santa fe and cheyenne and that is with half board included

thats a good price for the time of year, as it includes half board for 3 of you

june dates come in at £682sh for cheyenne or £700+ for santa fe but no half board

that will change though, as there will undoubtedly be better offers for June to come later in the year - based on this year, I'd expect to pay around £500 in June for 3 nights/4 days, midweek, for your family group (this won't include half board though)

do you think feb would be too cold and rides closed etc? Would this make it better value and more fun in june? It would be for 2 adults and 2 children (2 and 5 years old) I have looked at other hotels but these are the only 2 in budget unless u include davy crockett but still pricing up travel options and as we are in scotland its unlikely we would drive so prob best to avoid the davy crockett. I am aware that eurostar etc would be seperate too just trying to get an ideawhat to start saving or if its even doable?

any thoughts on this? Sorry if im totally clueless here this will be our first trip so its all abit overwhelming! :)

    Thank you

Okay - loads and loads of families from the UK go to DLP in January and February every year, because its lowest of low season, so great prices, and usually low crowd levels. You will probably need skiwear for the kids at that time of year, it can be bitterly cold. Some rides will be closed, but certainly not the majority, so there will still be plenty to do. The parks will close early (7pm) at that time of year.

In June, the weather is much kinder, the parks are open a lot longer (typically until 11pm in the main park every night) and because its before main school holidays across Europe, you'll still have nice low crowd levels. Its out of main refurb season (January to March) so there are generally less closures then, compared to February.

Direct Eurostar is already available for both your dates (the February dates have been on sale since August) so you can check the prices for both your date choices now as well :).

Wow thanks for the quick reply! Thats great info I think im just worried that in feb being so cold etc that some of the magic wont be there but hard to know having never been iykwim.
Thats interesting that you think there will be better prices for june coming soon, u think maybe it might be worth holding out then?!?
Do you know when the offers come out roughly?
    Thanks again :)

the first time I ever went to DLP it was Feb half term, so I didn't get long park hours or nice weather - and it certainly didn't put us off going again (and again, and again :rotfl:). Wrap up warm, lots of layers, blankets for the buggy, and you can still enjoy DLP no problem.

For June I'd expect the better offers to come out from the beginning of 2015 through to March/April next year, for your dates.

    Thank you
im so torn as its so much more affordable in feb and we live in scotland so the kids are quite used to cold weather and do lots of outdoorsy stuff whatever the weather, the only things concerning me now are the potential ride closures and i have just seen that eurostar arent going direct on those dates and im not filled with confidence about the change at lille.
On the subject does anyone know how id price up the eurostar as online it comes up as over £100 each but a few days later direct is £35-am I doing something wrong? Its the 5th-9th feb.
My hubby says wait for june offers but I know it will be hard to get a similar deal. How do you find out about the deals changing? I heard they have flash sales but would that be unlikely to include june dates?
Arghh im obsessing over it now, so excited about taking them that just want it booked already iykwim.
thanks for your help so far :)

As there are no direct Eurostar services in Feb, you'd need to wait until 90 days before travel, to book the indirect fare (via Lille). Its no problem doing this, I did it in April :). Remember to look for London (or Ashford, or Ebbsfleet) to Disneyland Paris (not Lille or Paris).

The long-term offers change every couple of months or so, and sometimes there is a flash sale between one offer ending and another beginning. You can use other countries versions of the DLP website too, often other countries get different offers, which might suit you better (but you will have to wait, they won't be out now for June next year yet). You just have to keep an eye on the DLP site, and a few forums could help too - tripadvisor for DLP, the DIBB, and DISboards.

Theres no reason why your dates in June wouldn't be included in a discount offer or even a flash sale - they are low season dates.
  • Hi guys, I'm after some advice please.

I'm looking into taking the family for 4 nights the 1st week of the easter hols next year. After looking at the hotels I think I would prefer to stay at sequoia lodge or new York but in a upgraded room golden forest or similar to get the benefits. I've tried looking at the dl site but they are not an option so I'm assuming they have sold out. Does anyone know if more will become available later or if I could upgrade at the hotel?

We haven't been before so I'm not too sure on what I am doing...

    Thanks
  • Bump ... :)

We are in Disneyland Paris between Sunday 19th and Friday 24th October and can sponsor two people.

Feel free to get in touch.
  • Hi,

I've already booked our trip for the first week of the Easter hols next year with the previous offer of 2 free days/nights. Am I right in thinking that I can call to upgrade to the new half board offer by paying the difference? I've already had a look and it would be approx £60 for the 4 of us (2adults & 2kids).

    Thanks.
