When you book through the French site, how do you get the tickets? And with this offer, is it not worth getting the annual pass? We have been so many times now, I was just going to buy the pass and stay in hotels outside, and when the weather is better campsites:eek:
Thanking you in advance x
do you mean the Belgian flash sale? You just do your booking the usual way, fill in all your details, but leave Belgium as the country, don't change that. You get email confirmation once you have booked, with your confirmation number. That email is all you need to take to the hotel to check in and get your park tickets.
I have annual passes, so I booked one adult (who needs park tickets anyway) in on the flash sale package, and I'll add the other 2 of us in the party to our hotel room when we check in. That way we pay only around 5 euros maximum per night for the 2 of us AP holders, in local taxes, to get breakfast at our onsite hotel too, per night booked (so for 2 of us for 3 nights we'd pay a total of 15 euros or so in local tax).
I did look at staying offsite and buying one more AP (for the one of us who doesn't yet have one) but for my dates it was going to cost at least £310 to do that - the Santa Fe and even Sequoia Lodge were cheaper on the flash sale, including the one set of park tickets we need.
Its all about crunching the numbers.0 -

Thank you,
There are 2 adults and 3 children under 12, so I don't think we can pay 1 adult and 3 kids and then buy one pass to stay at the New York as that would surely mean paying for another room (they only sleep 4) Even if we paid for a second room, we'd still all bunk in together. Sorry to bother you again! Do they allow you to "overcrowd" or is this frowned upon? We loved the Davy crockett in spring but I think winter might be a bit bleak!!!
Thank you once again x0 -

no, for insurance reasons they don't allow more than 4 guests in a room onsite at DLP, plus one infant (aged under 3). You would need to pay for 2 rooms onsite, or stay at the DCR.

The 2 nights free deal on a 4-night stay is equal to just under 40% discount, so thats a good deal.
Sequoia Lodge has a pool, Santa Fe doesn't. If your family likes a swim, thats a good way to spend some down time in your park day, so you might want to go with the Sequoia Lodge. I'm not sure the Golden Forest is worth upgrading so, as there will be no characters in any of the onsite hotels next year, so your perks in Golden Forest will be separate breakfast room, separate check-in desk, hot buffet breakfast items as well as continental, and free drinks/snacks in the lounge in the afternoons. Oh and one fastpass per day for one ride in the park per day (not really a perk to be honest, because your normal park ticket will give you more than one fastpass per day).
Thanks for the reply!
Could you explain that last bit about fastpass - looking at http://www.dlpguide.com/planning/services/disneys-fastpass and http://www.disneylandparis.co.uk/guest-services/fast-pass it seems to imply that the lodge fastpass allows multiple use?
Looking at http://www.dlpguide.com/planning/dining/meal-plans/ meal plans can soon mount up ;-) Although I see they now include a snack voucher. What have people done - a meal plan or just dine a random restuarant?
To see characters - I presume the queues around are horrendous?! What would people recommend?
Thanks again :-)0 -

basically, anyone who has a ticket to get through the turnstiles and into the park can use that ticket in the fastpass machines in DLP, to get fastpass tickets out, as many times a day as there is capability for. At quiet times, you could get fastpass tickets with your own normal park ticket for just about every hour of the park day. In August you're probably looking at being able to get a new fastpass ride ticket every 2 hours of the park day.

there are loads of counter service and Village restaurants which don't participate in the meal plan voucher scheme, and they are generally cheaper to eat in than the meal plan restaurants anyway, so just eat where you like and pay as you go

queues can be horrendous for the Princesses, but not so bad for any other character to be honest. The meet n greets in the Studios are generally quieter than the ones in the main park, and of course by next year the characters will be available for meet n greets in Extra Magic Hours inside the park, which should be much quieter than during the rest of the park day.0 -
Ok so I've trawled through so many websites my head is spinning. I am looking to book disneyland paris from 31st dec to 3rd jan flying from edinburgh. The 2nd January is my daughters 5th birthday so wanting to book lunch with princesses and cake. What are the best sites to get the best possible price. There are 2 adults and 1 child. Any help appreciated as this has been a last minute thought but I know my lo will love it.
I have flights, sequoia lodge, park tickets, bday cake and lunch with princesses coming in at £1760. Does this seem reasonable? Any saving will help or well be eating beans out the tin until christmas0 -

my first thought is, can you change your dates at all? New Years Eve is one of the most expensive days of the year to check in at an onsite hotel, if you can move it on even 2 days, to 2nd January, it will be cheaper (and quieter in the parks, you won't be able to move on New Years Eve all day).0 -
I was looking for our Feb trip the other day and spotted some good prices based on the get 4 nights for 2 offer. But I checked again yesterday and that offer has now ended and for me its working out a lot more money as you get half board inc.
What I was going to do was book 2 rooms for 4 nights each with 1 adult in each. Then turn up with 2 more adults and 1 child with Dreams passes and pay the tax. but to do that with the half board prices looks expensive....
Do we think the offer's will change again soon? I dont mind leaving the booking till late but my friends want to get their eurostar train booked so need to know what dates we want to go for.
Any advice would be good.

If the current offer is expensive for your dates then wait ~ the UK site may not offer the 2 nights free again for feb half term (although they might, theres at least 2 more long~term offer periods to come before feb next year). but other country offers might suit you and you can book using any country offer regardless of where you live. If you know the dates you want i,d say book your travel asap and then wait for a hotel offer that suits you. Avoid friday and saturday check~in dates if you possibly can, those are the most expensive at DLP.
eta - the current French site offer might work for you - up to 35% off and free kids under 12?0
