at the onsite hotels, breakfast at your hotel is included in the price of the local tax.

Woop we are heading back to disney on Friday
we are looking to get the train into disney and then the bus to our hotel.
Does anyone know rough prices or train times etc?
Also does anyone know what the weather is like this time of year Thanks
train from where into Disney? bus from Disney to which hotel?
accuweather.com will be able to give a good indicator of the weather at marne-la-vallee during your trip.

You don't say how long you are there for, but the weather is looking favourable at the moment for then. I have been keeping a close watch on the weather there as we arrive on Sunday. We go every September and it is usually warm and sunny (we have been known to use sunscreen there at this time of year), but have also encountered heavy rain there a few years ago. Sunny and warm seems to be the norm from my experience during September."Life moves pretty fast, if you don't stop and look around once in a while, you could miss it": Ferris Bueller

Hi there just wondered if anyone could help me decide where would be best to stay. Looking at disney hotel with terrace or golden forest lake room at sequoia lodge. We are a family of 2 adults, 2 young children and a 2 year old. Wondered if the golden forest extras out weigh a standard room with terrace at disney. Can't decide if having the terrace would be more beneficial in the evenings when children have gone to bed?
Thanks in advance for any thoughts.0 -

i think it would depend what time of year you were going to DLP?
In winter, with young children, the DLH would be better as its much closer to the entrance of the parks (ie overlooking the main park). You wouldn't use your terrace though as it'll be very cold, especially after dark.
In better weather, the Sequoia Lodge Golden Forest would be better - you get the perks of the Golden Forest rooms, plus its a nice walk through the Village (10 minutes maximum, even with young children) to the gates of the parks.0 -
Thanks for your reply ballet shoes.
We are looking at going end of march so maybe sequoia lodge would be better? I was definately concerned about tired legs.
Also having never been to DLP before are the meal plans a good idea? We have 2 children over 3 and 1 under and 2 adults. We are hoping to stay for 4 nights/5 days. Thank you for your insight.

end of march i'd say Golden Forest, with no meal plan (they don't save you any money and they are restrictive).
By the end of March the main park will be open until 9pm ish every night, so you'll be able to have a nice break at your hotel mid-afternoon, enjoy the free drinks and snacks that come with the Golden Forest, bit of a nap for the kids (and adults) then back into the parks for more rides and Dreams.
If you children are aged under 5, it might be an idea to take buggies for them (or one buggy and a buggy board), there is a lot of walking involved, you don't even realise how far you walk every day around the parks, and there are plenty of places to leave your buggies when you are doing rides together etc.0 -
Hello - I am planning to take my 2 children to DLP over Easter 2015 for 5 nights and will be looking to avoid Saturdays and Sundays. We have some flexibility over dates and can make it from the 30th March to the 18th April. Please can you advice what the less crowded dates might be? Would be good to avoid school holidays. Many thanks.0

here are French school holidays for April next year -

I'd go from 30th March, that will by far be the quietest week of your 2, is there any reason why you want 5 nights? 4 nights will give you 5 days in the park, and the current 2 nights off on a 4-night stay offer on the official DLP site means you get the equivalent of around 40% off the full price. 5 days will be loads of time if you go that week, to do and see everything at DLP, and your favourites over again.
eta - if any of your children are aged over 6, but under 12, the current French offer of kids under 12 free and 35% off, might give you a better price for your dates.0
