    Ah, I see.
And presumably you're saying that if the cashback doesn't come off then the price would be higher than booking through the travel agent?

Tricky one. A bird in the hand, and all that.

Have you tried booking it all seperately rather than through a travel agents . . .

    I.E:
    1. Book your hotel & park tickets through TOPCASHBACK via the disnelyland paris site.
    2. Look at the different disney websits, depnding on your date of travel it maybe cheaper to book through the french site rather than english site (french site offering under 12's for free)
    3. Flights via Easyjet
    4. Transfers via Holiday Extras (there again offer cash back through cashback sites)

i understand - but i'll be honest, if you want DLP to go out of their way to let you cancel one booking, take another offer, and not charge you any fees for it, I don't think being irate is the way to go. Their full T&Cs are contained in your booking confirmation email, they are also published in their brochures (online and glossy).

DLP is not contravening any rules by offering different target audiences different offers.

A little perserverance and numerous emails back and forth they have now honoured the deal, and let me cancel with no fees attached, and booked the french deal, made a saving of over £100.

I have Eurostar booked, just looking to get Hotel and Park the cheapest.

French site isn't available for dates I want.
  • I am going to DLP on Sunday I just went on the disney paris web site and saw this
    Pause Gourmande (Teatime Treat)

In addition to your main meal, both Half and Full Board Standard, Plus and Premium Meal Plans now also include a Pause Gourmande voucher, allowing you to enjoy a hot or cold drink and a sweet treat from Counter Service restaurants within the Disney Parks after 3pm. A nice bonus and a good way to keep hunger at bay between meals - saving on tempting snacks!

I have booked Plus meal vouchers and I am sure this was not included then .
Will save us a bit more money .
    anyone know anthing about it

yes - its a hot or cold drink plus a pastry/cookie/cake from the menu, available in participating counter service restaurants inside the main park and the studios park, you can cash in your pause gourmande vouchers between 3pm and 7pm. The participating counter service restaurants are printed on the back of the vouchers.

the earliest you can do it is 60 days before you want to eat at the restaurant - but theres no need to do it that early for DLP, a couple of weeks ahead will be plenty of time to get the dates and times you want.
  • I am considering a Trip in late November. We are a family of 4. We have been before on a package via Eurostar. However this time money and travel days almost rule out train. I am therefore looking for some guide on how best to go. My views / questions.

We go after School on a Wednesday and drive to DLP from London via Ferry - very bad idea or an ok suggestion ?

We stay in Disneyland Hotel on the Wednesday night. Room only - cost ? Is that possible ?

We have Thursday and Friday in the park on a package - looks like 4 day deal is same price however !

We drive back home Saturday just checking out therefore no park tickets. If we go for a package then it includes Saturday tickets that we don't need

The package deal we can get is £1120 & £400 Eurostar. Will I save a lot doing it the way above ?

    Thanks in advance. Lee:beer:

Have you looked at the ferry prices? Maybe Eurotunnel (you can use Tesco clubcard vouchers for payment of Eurotunnel).

you'll save nothing at all going room only for your Wednesday night onsite - room only is usually more expensive than a package price, because packages are discounted and room only never is.

If you want to do it a cheaper way, try the French version of the DLP site for your 2 nights onsite, they are doing 30% off and kids under 12 free, which might suit you better than the UK offer.

If you know you won't use any park time on Wednesday, personally I wouldn't stay onsite at all, I'd look at the Dream Castle or Magic Circus offsite but nearby - that way you can use the hotel facilities when you arrive - pool, bar etc etc, you're still close enough to the Village to head in there for a meal and a mooch about in the Disney shops etc, and you can check out very early on Thursday morning and check in at your Disney onsite hotel in time for EMH that day. Check travelrepublic, hotels.com, expedia, alpharooms, ebookers etc for prices.

2 nights onsite on a package (Thursday and Friday) will give you park access on Thursday, Friday and Saturday, so you might find that you have time for a couple of park hours on Saturday morning before you start your drive back to the UK.

eta - just checked the French DLP site - 2 nights/3 days at the Disneyland Hotel for 2 adults and 2 kids aged under 12 comes to 961 euros (around £770), I used 20th November but I'd assume 27th would be the same price.
