if they like loud noises they'll love it :D. Lots of whooping and hollering, waving your hats around, banging your cutlery on the tables, and sounds of gunshot.

Hmmmmm. One has some sensory issues around noise.

Is it something we have to book in advance or can we do it there?

you can do it there, but it costs more (typically around 55 euros per adult at the door). you can get tickets through ticketnet.fr or the French version of the DLP site for 40 euros, booked in advance, and they are e-tickets so you just print them off at home.
  • Hi all,

I just wanted to know, how expensive souveniors are at Disneyland Paris?

Ive got 3 kids who no doubt will want to buy bits for friends, so need to know how much Euros to take!
  • We've been thinking about doing something different for Christmas this year and have decided on a trip to Disneyland Paris. I've spent ages looking on different sites trying to find the best deal but i'm going round in circles so wondered if anyone would be able to give me a nudge in the right direction?

    Here's my list of 'wants':

There will be six of us travelling. Two adults and four kids (12,9,5,4 years old), although i think the 12 year old is classed as an adult.

We're looking at either a two or three night stay and want to be there for Christmas day and boxing day.

We're not fussy about which hotel as long as it's one of the Disney ones. We've stayed at Sequoia Lodge before and would be happy to stay there again or try another. We're really not fussy and the cheaper the better.

We don't want to drive and i'd prefer not to fly so Eurostar would be best.

We don't mind a large family room that'll sleep all of us or two separate rooms.

That's about it. We're very flexible and very unfussy. We'll be happy just to be there and the rooms will be used just for sleeping so we don't need luxury.

Has anyone seen any good Christmas deals or have any advice?

    Many thanks.

I haven't been for a few years but I doubt the prices have changed much, so similar prices to what you'd expect to pay in a UK Disney store. You can pick up a few discounted items (they have items from last year's collections, old special events, or discontinued items that can be found reduced at eurodisney shops) but generally souveniors start from 10-15 euros.

If they are going to buy little gifts I'd suggest between 30-40 euros. 10-13 euros for each child.

slightly more than Disney Store UK prices, but not much more ie around 3 euros upwards for a pen or keyring etc, 6 euros upwards for a pin, soft toys are around 7 euros upwards.

i think you'll have to wait a while yet for a good deal to come up for a 2 or 3 night stay over Christmas, and you'll need 2 rooms in any of the onsite hotels. Santa Fe has had a recent refurb and will be considerably cheaper than the Sequoia Lodge.

I'd expect Eurostar fares to be out shortly for your December dates, so you might want to firm up exactly when you'll be travelling, and book the Eurostar when the fares become available, as they will only get more expensive the longer you leave it.

Realistically, what would you want to spend, total, for the hotel and park tickets? That would give me an idea if what you want to spend is feasible for that time of year.

you can call the hotel a couple of days before you arrive to ask for a cot to be put in your room, or you can ask when you check in at the Santa Fe.

Hiya, do you know what the best phone number would be?

the direct number for the Santa Fe hotel is 0033 1 60 45 78 00

Thanks for the reply and apologies for the delay in responding to you. For some reason I didn't get an email notification that there were replies on the thread.

To be honest, I had the figure of £3k in my head, maybe a bit more. I don't know where I got that figure from though!

I spent a bit more time online last night and have come to the conclusion that I wouldn't be against staying in a non-disney hotel. I checked prices for one of the Disney partner hotels (or whatever they call them) and found it to be very reasonable. If I remember correctly, it was around £325 for three nights over Xmas in a self catering type apartment. I'm pretty sure park tickets would work out around £350 per day for the six of us so would need to decide whether we need two days or would get away with just one day (Xmas day). I'm leaning towards two days at the moment. I'm not sure on Eurostar prices (any help would be appreciated here!) but I think the total cost would come in at less than staying on site.
