  • where were you looking for your 3-day tickets? usually 3-day tickets are about the same price as a fantasy pass.

there is no problem buying fantasy or dream annual passes at DLP and then using them straightaway.

Avoid the Francillien AP unless you can use them on day 1 (when you buy them) then not come back to DLP for the next 2 days, because they have 2 non-contractual dates.

Also check your trip dates against the AP blockout dates, only the most expensive ones - Dream APs, give you access to the parks 365 days per year.

If you are all family, all resident at the same address, you do get a family discount on buying 5 APs of the same type at the same time at DLP - this is 20% off the price of each of the 5 APs, so a good saving (then you'd pay full price for the 6th one).

    Hi Balletshoes

My break from disney has now changed from May half term to 13th-15th April - can't get time off from work!

I've been looking for 3 day passes for 5 adults and 2 children

After reading this would you say I'm better off getting annual passess for everyone? I have no intention of coming back (arranging one trip is bad enough)

There isn't any offers on at the moment on day passess

fantasy passes will work for those dates - they are 159 euros each (so the same price as an adult 3-day hopper pass).
are you all family, living at the same address? if you are, you can get the family discount of 20% off 5 passes bought at the same time bought at DLP, so that would bring each pass down to 127 euros each, which is cheaper than adult 3-day passes, and just about the same price as child 3-day passes (they are around £115 each).

    Hi,

My husband, and kids are same address as me so I can get 3 adults and 2 children passess. My 2 sisters are different address, but they have the same surname as me, will that work?

What do you have to take as proof of addresS?

Also, where is the best place to get them from?

    Sorry about all the questions!

    Thanks :)

You can use the 20% family discount for your immediate family then as there are 5 of you at the same address. the kids dont need proof of address and if you all have the same surname all your passports will be enough ID to get the discount.
your sisters will have to pay full price for their fantasy passes.
easiest way to get them is at the ticket booths or guest services at the entrance to the main park. take all your passports as photo ID, buy your annual passes (remember to ask for the family discount) you,ll be given day tickets to get you through the turnstiles into the main park then you all go to the to the AP office to swap your day tickets into permanent laminated photo~id passes.

Usually the best deals for summer come out after the winter season brochure is published so that might be around august/september this year. its usually cheaper to only book your hotel/park tickets through disney and book the eurostar yourself separately. anything from 10 months before travel the direct fares on eurostar become available.
when looking for a good deal for your disney hotel, generally speaking at least 40% off, or 2 nights free, is good and a fairly typical discount.

oh and dont feel pressured into booking early if there are no decent deals ~ the current offer for this august of 30% off and free half board only started in mid~Feb (ie last month).

Would it be any cheaper to buy the tickets beforehand online? or just easier to get them in Disneyland?

its no cheaper getting them online, and you can't use the family discount at all online, so in fact it would be more expensive. You would also still only get temporary tickets if you bought online, so you'd still have to go to the AP office with your passports to get your permanent passes (the temporary tickets are only valid for your first day).

Is it possible to buy annual passes by post or is that only if you are a shareholder or French resident? I remember coming across mention of it some time ago, but can't find the info now :(

    TIA
