Does anyone know the cheapest price for Dream castle hotel for 2 adults and 2 x 8 year olds, from the 13-17 April 2014? We only need park tickets for 2 days, the 14th and 15th.
Thanks in advance. Help very much appreciated. This is our first time

for the offsite hotels at DLP I always start with travelrepublic - their price for your dates is £374 total, bed & breakfast.

I'd also look at the Dream Castle's own website, plus Expedia, alpharooms, ebookers, and hotels.com (and check cashback sites to see if you can get a bit more off that way).
  • Does anyone know just how much of an issue smoking in the queues at Disney is? I've read a lot of reports that its pretty bad.

Id rather not expose my children to this sort of behaviour... I was thinking of maybe taking a few cans of air freshener with me to spray directly at the ignorant idiots....

I couldn't believe how many people were smoking! I thought DLP was a smoke free zone but no! There were young people smoking, older people smoking. It was everywhere. I have to say that really spoilt it for me especially when I passed someone and they were blowing the smoke my way, not deliberately of course. I've never smoked and simply hate it and for my grandchildren to be subjected to it I thought was horrible.

yep, if you're not used to it, its bad.
There is no legal way of enforcing a smoking ban in outside areas at DLP, by law, in France.
Smoking in inside areas, including hotel rooms, indoor public areas, and indoor queue lines, is forbidden, and if you see anyone lighting up inside, inform a staff member immediately. There is no point retaliating about people smoking in outside areas at DLP, because it is allowed, by law.

I was thinking along the lines of being as annoying as I can back in an attempt to make them move away or stop... something like dropping a few stink bombs maybe or carrying some very high pitched panic alarms... just something to create a little nuisance... or I could always carry a super soaker around with me... :rotfl:

Fortunately Im going between 9th and 13th of February so Im hoping the park is so quiet that the smoking isnt an issue...

Smoking at our hotel or in the restaurants wasn't a problem. People seemed more aware of children around in those places.

Oops sorry balletshoes just re read your post and you said it was forbidden indoors! Lol. No wonder we didn't see smokers! :)

not really a good deal, and are you tied into those dates (the reason I'm asking is because next year Parisien schools are off on holiday from 15th Feb to 3rd March, so the parks will be buiser then than in the UK Feb school holidays).

    http://www.education.gouv.fr/pid25058/le-calendrier-scolaire.html

Also, do you need the meal plan? You won't get any vouchers for your 1-year old at all on the meal plan, and there are much cheaper ways of eating at DLP.

Eurostar won't get any cheaper now, as its direct and indirect fares have been on sale for February for a fair while already.

Thank you - no not tied to those dates so happy to go after 3rd march :) Not bothered about the food, only mentioned it as it was a part of the deal! Where is best to look for hotel wise? x

If we find a good deal i'll book the Eusrostar asap :)
