I OPENED IT!!! £45
giving it to my mum tonight towards holiday, so i cant spend it on owt else.
also, my loose change tin has got £10.28 in it. this is the "Ds's DS" fund! he has asked for a nintendo DS for cmas and altho ive already said £50 each child and pretty much got all there pressies already, decided to get him one and he really doesnt ask for much and i know hell play on it alot and get his moneys worth. hell look after it well aswell cos hes ever so careful with stuff like that. so, thru my guilt (not that she knows cos shes only 1 1/2), i added £10 onto dh's budget aswell so can get her some more dolly clothes or sumat. i know hes having £100 extra and shes only getting £10 but at her age ds got hardly anything, and next year shell prob be wanted this that and the other aswell so will be even more expensive then. so decided to up her budget to £60, normally insist on spending exact same on them both but on this one occassion not going to. its dh bday in jan aswell as ds isnt until may. so dh will get loads.
so anyway.... back on track..!, got £100 to save for DS's DS and got £10.28 so far. hmf.

i know, cant hold my own water! last night i was dead set on not doing it, then this morning got itchy fingers and got the tin opener out. had to hide the evidence so dh doesnt see it
was verry please tho cos thought maybe 20-30 quid in there. so nice suprise

ha ha i knew u would open it nog!:rotfl:
45 quid is a good amount tho! well done !!
Didnt even get an interview for the job:mad:, so thats 2 jobs ive been turned down for!!
On the positive side of things tho my boss was aware I was "actively seeking other emloyment", so she gave me another payrise!!!:T So I am actually worth something to the company, as its my 2nd payrise in as many months!!
Its gutting getting knocked back tho, but Ive picked myself up and dusted myself off!
Yeah the savings are gonna be all gone this week tho - Ive got to get some presents out of it coz Im starting to panic now so gonna get 6 pressies out of it for various cousins and nieces and nephews, then im going to get ds and oh main pressies out of ohs monthly pay on the last day of this month, then Ive just got to get a few bits n pieces and I can start saving for my new telly:rolleyes:
I was really proud of myself today - for those of you dont know me, I used to have an online gambling problem, Ive not been near a bingo site(online or off;)) for ages, my cousin came round to mine as her internet is off, she went on bingo and won 660 quid!!! You wouldnt believe how fast it happened either, but all I could think about was the fact that she had deposited 30 quid of her own money to get it! Im so chuffed it doesnt hold the same lure as it did earlier on in the year!!
But well done to me cousin for winning that!!
